Google said that it was open and it didn't. Plus, none of their offices posted were open on Saturdays.

It has a big sign about new hours ( 9-12 weekdays). I'm there on a Tuesday at 10:30 am and there's a closed sign in the window. Annoying

Useless! Posted hours are 9-12 weekdays. I know about Hawaii time but seriously it should occasionally be open. If by 9-12 you actually mean 11-11:30 just say so. That way I can come when it’s actually opened. I spend a week trying to send mail but was never successful. What a waste of time. Why even have a post office here?

This is no longer a functioning post office. This is solely for P.O. Box and package pickup. In addition they are no longer open on weekends. If you don’t have a P.O. Box there then this post office has nothing to offer you. You have to drive into town 5 miles or so if you’re looking to mail a package.

As this is a government service, I’m not sure who can update the google maps hours info, but as of 3/7/22 this location is not open for shipping out and the hours are severely limited (m-f 9-12). Which is understandable due to the current global issues. Just leaving this review to hopefully help anyone who is waiting until last minute (like me oops) to mail out a package before heading to the airport…

Does not sell stamps. Could not help us mail a postcard. Otherwise, a perfect post office in every other way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Currently, they don’t sell stamps. This location can only process mail for the PO Boxes inside. They do have a blue mail box outside to deposit your outgoing, stamped letters.

Shame shame shame on Doug Miller- contract postal worker at Keauhou shopping contract post office. I paid for my PO Box on January 30th- fee due by the end of January 3st. Already changed the lock and sent mail back writing UNKNOWN ADDRESSEE. The package he returned had my necessary medicine- This is unacceptable and Doug Miller has to be fired! He is a useless employee! BE AWARE- RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE- YOUR MAIL IS NOT SAFE!

Great Post Office with very friendly and efficient staff. The decorations are amazing and fun to read and look at while waiting. We always look forward to going there instead of the main PO office in town. We appreciate the patience they have with so many customers who show up very unprepared and so they often need to explain how to correctly send things. Mahalo!

I've had a P.O. Box here for the past three years. It's always been a little different but I liked that I couldavoid the long lines at the post office in town. Ever since covid though this place became a total pain. The hours changed to hardly open which made it really difficult to pick up my packages. More and more signage was posted that just made the atmosphere uncomfortable. I decided to close my box as it wasn't worth the $120 a year to deal with the owner who's always been rather dry but whatever, added to the "charm". I forwarded my mail to another address. When I went to turn in my key I was surprised that someone was actually there. I rang a bell to request service. A strange piece of yellow paper was slipped between the door that read something to the effect of slide this paper with arrows on it. It wasn't clear what this meant so I said I'm here to turn in my key. A small crack opened and the voice said leave it on the ledge. So I did and that was that. Happy to be done with that place! I understand, let's flatten the curve let's not spread covid but I believe this man is beyond paranoid and it's effecting his business.
