“This is a great little shop. It’s more of a collectible shop than a model shop I’d say. Many older discontinued military and sci fi models, some fairly rare. Speaking to owner was fun, like what a comic shop used to be like where fans could meet and talk all things under nerddom. He says he buys collections so depending on what ones are on the shelf, I imagine stock can be hit or miss. Not a huge selection of painting supplies.”

“Love this specialty shop for everything needlepoint and cross stitching! Joan and Kate and everyone there are super helpful and personable! I've been shopping here ever since they were at their original place in Kakaako across from Lex Brodie's! (now they're behind the fire station in Waikamilo/Kalihi) I always can find what I need and if I can't they're always so helpful with other solutions and suggestions!”

“If you are a crafty or artsy person you will find this store very satisfying and draining on your bank account. If you become a member they give you a discount, and it's worth it if you spend at least $100. I've found real sea shells there; cheap canvas; affordable paint brushes; beading supplies like 'ole (of all kinds); and a fake flower selection that'll please your eyes for days! He nani!Think of all that you can make and they'll likely have the supplies for it there. Just don't mind the gauntlet of goodies as you go to pay, they are going to sell you something extra from that maze of goodies, so just close your eyes as you walk through it or exercise supreme self-control.”

“Love Ben Franklin Crafts! They have almost all of the crafting supplies you need. When items are on sale, it’s definitely worth the purchase (if you are in a time crunch and can’t wait until an item is shipped OR if you want to support local). Prices are marked up quite a bit on some items—like canvases. However, when they’re on sale, they’re reasonable. The employees can be very helpful! Thank you!”
