I love this Goodyear auto service. They are very honest and reliable. My battery died and my car had to be towed to this store. The technician did a diagnostic and was very honest and upfront about the potential costs. It turned out that it was just the battery and they prorated the charge. Great service. They do not try and upsell you. Thank you!

Wrong hours listed on Google. Made it there with a completely flat tire around 5:50 to find out they close at 6 instead of 7. Couldn't get the tire that's under warranty replaced.

The good people at Good Year in Kailua are always wonderful, very responsive and so helpful. This time was no different. I had been away for several months and my car did not get its safety check or registration. A bad situation! I didn’t know which to do first. David, whom I spoke with, explained the process and hearing that I was a bit upset told me if I left my car for the day, they would squeeze me in and do the inspection. And they did. Great customer service!

it took me a few days to write this review because i had to process what happened at this shop. i went in for a tire repair, a nail had impaled itself into one of my rear tires. i dropped my car off for my 9am appointment and received a call at 9:28am from the shop. the rep said they had "really bad news about the car". since there was a windstorm happening at that time, my immediate thought was "eff! a tree fell on the car", but alas, no. the tread was too bare to fix and i would need new tires. i should have taken the cue that this establishment had a flare for the dramatic. cut to 1pm, 1 hour after they said my car would be done and i haven't heard anything from them, so i walk in the rain to the shop. walk in and it's pitch black inside. i ask if my car is done and the response is an emphatic "yes!". i asked them why they didn't call me, and they said "power's out". well duh, does nobody have a cell phone? is my phone number not written on that work order? then they inform me that i need to pay for my car in cash because of the power outage. i'm standing there drenched from rain and i ask the manager if i can take my car to go to the atm. he hesitates and decides if i leave my drivers license and a credit card for a deposit, i can take my car. i cannot convey the amount of frustration i felt talking to the shop people, it's as if i had to initiate any problem solving activity function for them. just as i'm about to hand over my personal property as a deposit, a tech comes bursting through the doors with my car keys and the person who told me my car was done says "oh we didn't actually do anything. here's your keys". i'm like wtf?!?!! you just asked me to pay in cash for services you didn't even perform. seriously??? in conclusion, the lights were out both literally AND figuratively.

Manager Damon always answered any questions to me prior to servicing my GMC Sierra. Got all new truck tires half the price than local Firestone. Mahalo to your staff!! They do work hard!!!

Horrible! Your web site "appears" to allow an appointment to be made on-line, but that's not true. Your store doesn't use it.

Don't have Goodyear evaluate a problem with your car AC. They charge over 200 dollars for the evaluation but they don't try to repair it. They just refer you to the dealer even for a leak in the system. They absolutely should advise customers that they only evaluate and don't repair!

These folks are great and honest. Both my coworker and I have used them in the past week. The air pressure gauge at the gas station at the corner is broken so we went to them and they helped us on the spot.

Needed a safety check, but they had no openings for a whole month. Forget it! I called some place else and I got an appointment in 2 days.

Bit disappointed in my experience here today. I registered for an appointment to get my oil changed, dropped my keys off, and sat in the lobby. Other customers came and went getting serviced, and my car didn’t even get moved to the bay. After 75 minutes, I asked for my keys back and left.Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought one schedules an appointment to get service at a specific time? An oil change should only take 30-45 minutes, and if it’s going to take longer, I would have appreciated someone letting me know so I can find something to do.

Can't urge you enough to stay away from this one. Go Midas, Firestone or Lex Brodie. This GoodYear shop is only doing business because of location-otherwise they'd be out of business. Dropped my car off on a first come first serve at 7 am for nail removal from tire, they said they can only do 10 per day. I was number 1. We requested they get us in by noon. I called at noon and they said "sorry" but we'd be ready by 6. Okay, fine we'll wait. At 5 pm they called and said they couldn't help us and we'd should go to dealer rather than paying them because under warranty. When in fact, they don't know what they are doing... stay away.

What a heartless establishment! We got a flat tire from a nail, and were so happy to happen to see a goodyear tire where we had to pull over. It must be our lucky day! Nope. The manager refused to help us because they only took jobs by appointment only. Nevermind emergencies or if you're stranded. They suggested that I call roadside assistance instead. Talk about a heartless establishment.

The absolute worst. I scheduled an appointment online , changed my work schedule and they canceled at 5 the night before. Also they don't diagnose anything, whatever the system you're inquiring about their only solutions is to just replace every part at the maximum charge regardless of what's wrong. I've used them for years and every time I swear never again. Never again. Good luck even reaching them on the phone.
