Ken is awesome! He takes care of his customers. Whenever I have had a problem with my car he’s been able to get it in pretty much right away. He’s good about explaining what the problem is in a way that easy to understand and doesn’t charge ridiculous amounts to fix it. I definitely recommend his services!

I take my E83 specifically to Hawaii vintage auto because Ken and his team care about service and workmanship. Before I met Ken I was shopping around looking for shops, and all of them told me to come down so they could look at my car. Not one asked me what type of car or even how I was doing. Furthermore none of could even say bye, they would just hang up. Not Ken though, his value for customer service was speaking just through the phone. He didn't ask me to come down so he could look he explained to me over the phone. I went there and he was honest and said they were busy but if he could squeeze me in he would. Which he did. I am grateful I have Ken doing work on my cars because he so honest and honesty goes a long way.

Ken & the guys took care of my E46’s catastrophic subframe mount failure (video & photos).
They did a great job, reinforced it, and gave good advice on other collateral repairs. They’re the only guys on island who can do this work, trust me I called everyone else!
Highly recommend for BMWs!

I took my 2004 BMW Z4 in for AC issues. Ken said "no problem" that is what they do.. I took the car in, they had it for a while. AC was now in working condition, however, when dismantling the car, they broke "oddments box trim, center console, and damaged rear view mirror. In doing the AC work, they created MORE damage to the interior of my car. So far, nothing has been fixed. It has been over TWO MONTHS. When discussing with Ken, it seems to land on deaf ears. I went out and got estimates on my own to get replacement parts. The parts alone are approx. 2500.00 This price does not include labor. I value my car, my time.. I want his team to take responsibility in fixing the damage THEY created. I am totally disappointed in Hawaii Vintage Workshop, They let me down and Ken's actions so far does not want to address the problems that his team have created. Professional ? no.

Ken and his team know BMWs better than anyone else, full stop. They've always done amazing work on our 1989 E30, at this point they've worked on just about every inch of it.There's a difference between a competent professional and a true master craftsman, and these guys are the latter. You can't find better.

Ken went above and beyond to find an extended warranty on the airbags of my 2015 BMW electric. He called the dealer and walked them through their own internet info and convinced them that it was indeed under warranty. I left armed with the name and number of the BMW service guy and $3,000 richer! I have since had a diagnostic with BMW, they ordered the part and I am scheduled for the free replacement next week. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Ken. I will be using Hawaii Vintage Workshop for all my future needs!

Ken was able to squeeze me in on a very busy day. He took the time to evaluate my car and find the problem in no time. And even walked me through what he was inspecting. After finding problem his team fixed my car in a timely manner and showed me the parts they replaced and what was wrong with each part. Ken has been servicing my E30 for the better part of a decade.
