Really cute store...but unfortunately terrible customer service. No friendly greeting when we walked in or the entire time we were in the store. I was interested in buying some bedding & robes. Ughh...So unfortunate. SA/owner was was too busy chatting on the phone with a friend. Definitely missing the aloha ...so aloha

I did a indigo dyeing workshop at the Four Seasons that was conducted by Island Bungalow. It was a lot of fun and interesting. I took a long time to decide my design and all of the clips were already used so I had to wait until the other participants were done.

I love this place! Beautiful home decor and women's clothing. The young lady who helped me... the owner? Was sweet and very knowledgeable. I bought two lovely hand stitched pillow covers. I plan on returning on my next visit to Hawai'i.

We visited Island Bungalow on the first day of Hurricane Lane shutdown. Some shops, including this one, remained open for the time being. Owner was very engaging, accommodating and hospitable and we were entertained by her sweet little son. Beautiful hand-stamped linens that evoke island life. Will definitely be ordering from their online store. Somehow I missed the "rating" option, but I wholeheartedly give them a 5 Star rating!

What a treat to visit every time I am Kailua. I have purchased a coffee table, two curio/medicine cabinets, one beautiful Kantha pillowcase, and took a block printing class. What can I say...I love unique, bespoke items.

I love the employees here! Every time I come in, they're so welcoming and sweet. The textiles are gorgeous, I love their kantha blankets and their pillowcases. It's crazy how some people rate them 2 stars! Two stars who??? This place is nothing but stellar.

I purchased oils and bedding from here before. I've always loved their furniture and today walking by I saw teak table that caught my interest. There is a tag for 40% off on it and I was like, yes! Trying not to seem to eager I sat at the table inspecting it to purchase. I asked the owner why it was on sale (to make sure it wasn't damaged) she walked away and came back to look at the tag and said sorry this is the wrong tag. The 40% sale is done it ended last week, It's only 20% off now. Almost certain that being the owner customer service comes first and she would honor the price tag that was there. Sadly no, she walked me to the front and wrote down my name and number and said she "would let me know if it's ever 40% off again." Without making a fuss I said OK and walked out of the store pretty disappointed. Owning two businesses myself we always honor what's advertised even if it was our error. I was very disappointed in how they handled the situation. Especially since it's the owner that was approaching me not the other way around.

Worse return policy ever. Make sure u want to keep whatever u buy cause u only got 7 days to return and even that's just for store credit. We couldn't even exchange dress my wife bought for a different size! They had 6 of them right there on the rack and we couldn't even simply exchange it. All tags still on it and barely even taken out of the bag. I guess they get away with it cause of the mostly tourists they cater to.

Island Bungalow Hawaii is a gem in the heart of Kailua. My girlfriends and I love looking at the new arrivals and they always have something that catches my eye. It must be locally owned because the lady who is frequently there has asked us if there was something special we were looking for that she could try to bring in. I love the variety of exotic items--from local to Polynesian to things from India.
