I did not know much about Mac Made Easy but I live in Kailua and spilt Miso Ginger Dressing on my laptop (Apple Mac Book Pro 2019) keys so there we ended up. In my panic I made worse things worse. Thankfully my laptop was checked inside and out and miraculously put back together (because I ripped the keys off). I am a happy customer and so very thankful they could help. They sell all apple accessories, even more than I have even seen in the actual Apple store and they will give you an honest and fair professional opinion and price. When you need this type of service, you are thankful they are there.

I found this place when I was in need of fixing an iPad. I really liked that I could just drop it off & get a call back when it was fixed. Also, the location is so convenient & I'm not stressing to make an appointment at the Apple Store. The service & turn around time was so great, I went back when my AirPods started giving me problems. Definitely recommend anyone with Apple products to check them out for help!

I went in to get my iPad restored per Apple cares request. The gentleman told me all I needed was a plug. I had the wrong plug. I had 10 different Apple approved plugs that didn't charge the iPad but the plug he sold me and showed me that it worked and it did for one charge only. I was going holo and needed the iPad to work but now I'm on the big island The next day and my iPad is not charging again with his new plug so I'm stuck here without my iPad. I believe it needed to be restored like AppleCare had suggested But he insisted it needed a plug and although I had tried many many other ones prior and let him know that he still insisted that I had the wrong plug and he had the right plug and now I don't think he was right I'm sorry to say thumbs down for that visit

Super great service, I recommend going to them if Apple tried to screw you over or if you can't be bothered to drive to town. They usually charge a diagnostic fee that they can then apply to any repairs later on. They are located upstairs now inside the same building.

7/22/23: Brother in hospital requested longer iPhone cable. Decided fastest was to go by this store on way to hospital. Saturday hours are 10AM-3PM. I arrived @11am ish. Their door (entrance) on the 2nd floor was locked. I could see thru the shade that someone was inside, so I knocked. I could see the employee inside walk out of view, so I thought maybe they just needed to use the bathroom. No sign indicating any reason to NOT having an unlocked entrance door during normal business hours. I waited a few minutes then called the store, no answer. Again, I could see the employee, so I knocked, again the person moved out of view...so again I waited a few more minutes and knocked again...still no answer to the door during normal business hours. PUT A SIGN ON YOUR DOOR, if you are 1. Appointment only. 2. Having a class? 3. Taking a break? 4. Any other reason for locking your door during normal business hours so we don't waste our time and you don't get these negative reviews...

We feel so fortunate to have MacMadeEasy in Kailua! The staff is always friendly, welcoming, professional and extremely helpful. (Matt and Sean are the best; I could not be more grateful for their expertise and assistance.) And the store always has everything I need. I highly recommend MacMadeEasy and continue to be a very satisfied customer. :)

I have never experienced this much frustration with a business. I dropped off my AirPods on friday the 3rd, my case wasn’t working or charging. I was told the technician wouldn’t be able to look at it until Monday. No problem. They asked if I wanted a phone call if it had to be shipped to apple and I said yes. Fast forward to Thursday (2/9) and I haven’t heard anything so I give them a call. They tell me they had to ship it to apple on Tuesday (2/7) and apple received it yesterday (2/8) and I should have it back within the next couple of days. Monday comes- still nothing. So I give them ANOTHER call. I’m told fedex just dropped by and he’ll check for my AirPods and give me a call back. Guess what? I never got a call back. So I call Wednesday and am told that apple received the package but there is no update. So I call today, Friday, and am now told that apple just received the package yesterday and there’s no update. Ridiculous. So they’ve been lying to me for 2 weeks that apple received the package, can’t give me any sort of update, and I’m supposed to just sit here waiting. If I had known this business was run like an elementary school project, I would’ve just gone to the apple store. Ridiculous.

This company is an absolute joke. They wasted my time for a month. Asked me to come in to look at my device and determine how to fix it. They then told me they’d have to order a part to repair the glass on my lens and would call me once it came in, and at that time it would be about an hour for the actual repair. A few weeks later they call me back, they have ordered nothing, and it took them this long just to confirm my AppleCare account (which I showed them in person during the initial consults). Ok, that’s ridiculous, but please place the order. Cut to 3 weeks later, they call me asking if I still want to do business with them? Apparently nothing has been ordered and now they say they have to send it in to apple and I will be without a phone for an undetermined amount of time. 1. I work from home and literally can’t be without a phone for weeks or months. 2. The apple care policy says they’re approved vendors will provide a loaner phone (they do not have loaner phones at mac made easy at all). This is crazy, how busy can your tiny little shop with no patrons be that this is the terrible service you provide?? Thanks for wasting my time! Side note: if you’re going to do business by email, maybe the name of your company should be somewhere in the subject line or sender line?

Excellent Service. Easy to get appointment. Fast friendly service. Very reasonable fees. Shawn (sp?) the hardware technician was extremely helpful in explaining the issue with my iPhone and helped me recover my data from iCloud and get going with my new iPhone. Definitely recommend them and will use them again if needed.

I would give them TEN stars if I could. Twice now in as many years they have helped me get my Iphone started again. And with no charge!! The first time I walked in with no appt and the gentlemen ended up spending about 2 hours screwing around with my phone to get it started and the data back on. He was helping other customers but he did spend a lot of time on it. This time, today, was a simpler fix for the guy working (should have caught his name) but still I spent hours looking on line and trying to figure it out. I will always buy Apple products from these guys, their customer service is just incredible. Mahalo guys! Oh yeah - and they are upstairs now, so do not let the closed shop on the bottom fool you. Just get some exercise up the stairs next to the old store front.

These guys are great, my two year old daughter spilled water on my MacBook, everything I read said it was toast. I couldn’t turn it on, had no signal whatsoever, was going to buy a brand new one for $2500. Not only were they able to fix it and get everything back in operating order, but they did it for $30. Great service, cost-effective, but most importantly they are honest.
