“Very good shaved ice. It comes with vanilla ice cream on bottom. I got the natural fruit juices which were very good. They used a whole block of ice to make the large. It was fun to watch him make it. I highly recommend it.”

As a visitor from out of town, I have done my fair share of shopping around, and have not experienced the level of customer service that Mariah so effortlessly demonstrated.

“Okay, let me preface, I have never been to Hawaii and have never had shave ice from here, only other parts of the county.With that out of the way, I loved the shaved ice. It wasn't gritty and was light and airy. But, what made it was the flavors. I'm not going to recommend any flavor because everyone has their preference. I got Matcha, lychee, and vanilla it was great. My wife got strawberry, snow capped (sweetened and condensed milk) and she really enjoyed hers. My son got his with a macadamia nut ice-cream bar which he really enjoyed - smooth and flavorful.Try it, it's not like anything anywhere else in the country that offers similar. Don't compare it to others just on its own. Maybe try other local places on it to compare.”
“We were in Hawaii visiting family, decided to stop here & check it out! Karly helped us in store & was such a great help! We bought a set of sheets & a comforter that she helped us ship home as well as shirts, OMG SOFT! We loved the service & friendly atmosphere!! When we got home to Wisconsin, we decided to order a mattress, pillows, & some towels & wash cloths. We called & spoke with Karly who once again helped us out! Great service & great team!

“Olive is the cutest curated boutique in Kailua. Clothes, accessories, specialty foods, unique gifts - it’s like walking into a perfectly curated Pinterest board! The shopkeeper was so kind and welcoming, and even if you’re not in the mood to splurge, it’s worth browsing because everything is so beautifully displayed. The prices are definitely steep, but the quality is definitely there. Great for gifts, a little treat-yourself moment, or just inspiration.”

“Nice, clean, and bright store with very friendly staff. The store carried a great assortment of shirts with colorful graphic designs, many of which are plant based dyes and even dyed with volcanic ash! After all, we are on an island with active volcanoes!My hubby wanted a shirt that specifically had the Big Island graphic. He found one with a perfect fit that was called Blue Hawaii Dyed. This was specially dyed on the island of Hawaii. Very cool graphic and nice bright blue color that brings out his eyes.We chatted with the engaging sales lady about how we had purchased shirts from the store in Seaport Village San Diego. They are pricy but they're quality shirts and hubby deserves it!”

“Found this store on accident. We were hoping to get a smoothie at the place next door but they were closed. A cute tote bag caught my eye inside Island Zion. I stopped by inside and had the pleasure of meeting Jay! Shop had such a great variety of t-shirts, accessories and tons of amazing gift ideas. It did NOT have that tacky touristy vibe. T-shirts were soft and made of good quality. Everything was reasonably priced too! I wish I had more time to shop! If you're in Kailua, definitely stop by and check this place out!”

“They sell cute clothing and jewelry. This is one store that I would definitely purchase from. The clothes in this store all seem to be neutral tones, just my style. I love to wear beiges, white and cream color clothing. I saw this top that I wanted to get. It was white with green flowers on it. It was so nice. It was $54, so not that bad. They also have good sales. They have a 20% off sale rack near the door. Most of the women coming in the store stopped by the rack to take a look.”
