Fabulous local family-owned carry out. The people are so kind and the food is solid! The service very quick. We enjoyed the poké, dried spam, and some vegetable and noodle sides. All reasonably priced for the quality and love.

Came on National spam musubi day 8/8! Love how they are opened super early 6am so we can grab breakfast. There are so many options!!! We tried various spam musubi, dynamite chicken and garlic peanuts. They even have curry, noodles, and poke bowls which we didn't get a chance to try.The lady at the counter was super friendly and efficient. There is a parking lot and the store is spacious and clean. Will definitely be back again to grab snacks for the rb

Yummy! Musubi like I'd never had before...It was recommended by a friend and I waited a few days for them to open, totally worth the suspense that was built!

Wow. Don’t let this tiny little place pass you by because it’s a piece of heaven. Food was delicious. We first got there and we were basically the only ones there, but a couple minutes later the place was packed. SOOO lucky we found it and we took our meal to eat just outside Byodo-In Temple.

Stopped by before spending some time in the nearby botanical gardens and got some food to go. It's a small quaint store and they sell a variety of Hawaiian goodies including bento boxes, musubis, and bowls. One of our friends ordered a musubi and hers took a little wait to get it but we opted for the Beef Stew and Beef Curry. Both the stew and the curry were very savory and flavorful but nothing out of the ordinary. It had that home-made taste to it which I liked and overall it was good. It might have just been my portion, but I only got 1 piece of beef in my whole bowl. Our friend enjoyed her musubi so next time I'd consider trying that instead.

Being stationed in Kailua, we always drive past this shop on the way to calls. Luckily, we were able to stop by the other day and check them out. As we walked in we were surprised to see such a crowd inside! People were raving to us about which musubi were good so naturally we had to try a bunch. The staff were so friendly even though they were busy and made sure to greet us and thank us as we left. When we walked in, there was an old school okazuya like feel with a modern touch, if that makes an sense haha. Now the musubi, I tried the daddy g and it was awesome! The balance you get from the cream cheese, bacon, and pickles(shibazuke) is next level! The salmon and konbu were delicious as well. This shop if the perfect place if you're on the way to the beach in the morning and need to grab a quick bite and don't want to stop at 7-11. Highly recommend checking them out!

Great place to just grab and go for a quick lunch or snack. The different varieties of musubis are a great snack if you need something to keep you going until lunch or dinner.

Got’z Grindz changed the rice to “Nanatsuboshi” from Hokkaido. It seems that the locals also noticed the deliciousness of the rice ♪

This is a great little bento & musubi shop off of Kam Hwy in Kaneohe. The exterior reminds me of a small little house. If you blink you might pass right by it, so be sure to keep your eyes open! There are parking spaces on the side of the shop.Upon entering, you'll find all kinds of musubi combinations. If you love musubi, you'll be in musubi heaven! They have a variety of creative ingredients, and some of the musubi's are named after their family members:Daddy G's, with bacon, cream cheese and shibazuke.Mommy G's, with okaka (smoked tuna), tempura flakes and green onion.Yumi G's, with bulgogi, kim chee and Korean nori.Miki G's, with ginger chicken.Mika G's, with sukiyaki and egg.I had read that the owner used to work for Musubi Cafe Iyasume, so that would explain the musubi craze at this shop.I was actually craving a beef bowl, and they certainly have a delicious one! You can choose between a mini or a regular. I was just taking it to the beach as a snack so I chose the mini for $7.75. The beef was so tender and it had great flavor! They also added red ginger to the bowl.Service is friendly and helpful. It wasn't busy when I arrived on a Wednesday, but they are probably packed on the weekends. FYI, they are closed on Sunday's & Mondays. Definitely worth stopping by, especially if you love musubi.
