0n 1/08 around 10:15a.m. I went into Kays with Xmas diamond earrings problems. The two ladies working were so extremely dismissive and almost rude. I left confused and very frustrated. My earring problem unsolved! Found out these weren't the usual expensive items my hubby buys. He bought less expensive earrings this time since I snorkel and often forget to take my earrings out. Shame on these two employees. Treat customers well regardless what they buy!

Initially my over all experience with the Kaneohe Kay's was fantastic. I am very happy with multiple purchases ive made from them in the past. However this recent purchase was not the same. The gal who helped us was new so I thought we'd give her the opportunity to gain experience by working with her to help assist with our purchase of a custom name plate pendant, we also purchased another chain to go with it considering the necklace it came with was too small. The qouted price worked within our budget which is why we went through with the purchase. When finally choosing what we wanted the sales rep had assistance from two other employees and i asked and confirmed multiple times that the pendant in the picture is the one we want and quoted us an amount for that pendant. The rep said yes. On day of pickup i came to find that it was the wrong one design. Luckily i took a picture of the pendant in the catalog book on day of purchase to have proof of the one i wanted. It was truly an honest mistake however a mistake that will lead to not having the item and correct item at that in a timely manner. The manager Taryn was willing to help re-order the correct one but went on to say it may be a price difference and could be more but could not get another quote for about 24-48 hours. We spent an extensive amount of time placing the original order and it came out wrong because of their mistake (again three people was working on it). Taryn was not reasonable, and could not and did not guarantee accommodation for the item we had originally wanted at the same price. Taryn tried to call her supervisor but said he or she was interviewing or doing something at another store. In my opinion, this was their mistake and they should have had no doubt to do the right thing by the customer to re-order the correct pendant at the same quoted price. I was very dissapointed. As a manager, you have the power to accomodate or make things right and that did not happen. I ended up searching elsewhere and took my business to Zales which the product was much sturdier than the one at kays. The pendant at kays looked nice but I felt that the customized name plate pendant could snap by just holding it. It was very light weight, very thin and appeared highly breakable. I am a big fan of jewelry and plan to continue to grow my collection but will no longer spend any more money here at kays due to the fact that this happened and they were not accommodating.In response to kays response: yes I am very satisfied with Zales customer service and products, i recommend anyone who is looking for quality and best customer service to go there. I also believe you are mistaken and do not have the correct specs to say that the pedant i ordered would have been $100 less. Maybe you searched a plain name plate but the one I ordered is up in the $400-$500 range even with the 30% off black Friday sale i received. I appreciate your response but it is not accurate.

This location closed before the stay at home order was in effect without giving a heads up to customers that had jewelry there to be picked up. My wedding rings had just come back from being cleaned and they closed without notifying me that they were going to close or giving me any option to pick them up or have them mailed and my wedding rings have now just been sitting there for months and I have no idea when I will be able to access them. This is terrible customer service, they should have notified customers they were going to close up shop and allowed them to pick up their jewelry first.

Love them!! I absolutely recommend going there the general manager is amazing!! She listen to my problems and without hesitation she fixed it. She absolutely understood where is coming from. I just appreciate that she understood my frustration with my chain that I bought, She came up with a couple solutions where I had options that I could choose it wasn’t something that she forced on. I love the end result. I will be going back for future purchases!

I went to buy a watch for my husband. The one he wanted was more than I had budgeted for, but the lady told me about their payments so I signed up for the credit card and am doing interest free payments with it. The lady was really informative and friendly. They should have more watch brand variety, but they have a large selection in each of the brands they do have.

10/10 recommend a friend. Shopping at this Kay's location has been my favorite jewelry shopping experience by far. My first time there, I was looking for a new pendant to purchase. Each employee greeted me and constantly checked in to see if I needed help or had any questions. The manager of the store, Heather, did a great job walking around and making sure all the customers coming in and out of the store felt welcomed. Heather showed me all the different pendants they had available in store as well as the pendants I could order and have custom made. Unlike other jewelry stores, I didn't feel pressured to buy anything which made my shopping experience enjoyable. She even offered to clean the jewelry I had on that day and informed me that any time I needed a cleaning I could come in and they would clean it...That type of customer service is hard to find nowadays. Next time you go jewelry shopping go to Kay's in Windward Mall and ask for Heather. You will be in good hands, I promise you that!

I was just passing through the store kind of window shopping and killing time. The staff at kays were all so welcoming and friendly. My fiancé didn't buy my engagement ring from kays but they still cleaned it for free and said I can get it cleaned there any time. They also set up a wishlist for me on the computer and saved all of my favorite things I looked at that day. Kays at Windward is awesome and I'm really happy I stopped in.

Don't go to kays jewelry there customer service is very bad. Heather who is the store manager was very rude when I was trying to return something.

I stopped and looked at a gold chain a couple times and the girls there were always really nice to me. Dany and the manager Heather told me about a payment plan i could do on the chain. I was able to get approved for payments and got to leave with the chain that same day. I will definitely be back to shop with them again when my chain is paid off.
