I bought two shirts the wrong size for my son who lives in the mainland, on Black Friday weekend. I took the shirts back to exchange the same shirt for a different size and I couldn't get an even exchange. I had to pay the full price because I bought it at 20% off two weeks prior. I guess it's better to not bring in a receipt and just bring the shirts in to do an even exchange. I like to support local businesses and bought shirts from there from last year Christmas and throughout the year for family celebrations. They can keep the extra dollars I had to spend for the same shirts and I will take my business to other local vendors from now on.

Nice variety of local style t-shirts. Nicely represents Hawaiian kanaka Maoli. Has defend hawaii, most high, hawaii's finest and more. Although the cost of each shirt is worth it the Only thing is it's pricey one regular t-shirt cost $27-$31. Located in Windward Mall.

This super cool edgy local store stands out on its own! It's "street art driven" as perfectly described by Sebastian who was awesome at sharing what KNOW1 is all about! Their inventory is mostly made up of locally created products empowering the unique Hawaiian culture and lifestyle of Hawai'i. Honoring keikis to kupuna, there is something for everyone who loves Hawai'i and our local style of living and loving in the 50th State.

very disappointed in their business. Went to the store waited an hour outside till they opened trying to get a fitted hawaii hat that dropped that day. They said they got it, but couldnt sell it till the next day because it wasnt in the system yet. A few hours later I called them to be sure they will sell it the next day. The woman who answered said they sold out! WHAT!?????? That is bad business practice. That whole incident left s bad taste in my mouth and I will never shop there again. I usually go in and buy a few hundred dollars worth of stuff... not anymore. Ill make the drive ti In4mation for my hyped up stuff from now on. BOO! KNOW1

I heard some ratchet rap music playing from KNOW1, and it was LOVE AT FIRST BEAT. The shop has really cool urban apparel (mostly t-shirts) for men/women/kids. They also had a surprising number of sale items, considering how small the shop is. And the shelves and racks are so tidy! The customer service was on point; the girl at the counter is friendly, helpful, and even grabbed my hold items as I was walking back into the store. Love this store, and can't wait to check back next time I'm in the area!

I pass by this store many, many times during my walks at Windward Mall, but I had never ventured inside until... BLACK FRIDAY! Windward Mall had a promotion in which a customer can redeem their $150 worth of receipts for a movie ticket or a $10 gift card to certain retailers at the mall. All you had to do was bring that day's receipts in to KNOW1. What a clever way to get customers in for a look around! The place wasn't even on Yelp yet! It must be that new!? The grand opening was in July 2014... The employees were really helpful and the merchandise was neatly displayed: t-shirts galore, caps, skate boards, etc. It was a clean, cool, and hip store which I probably will visit when I have more time. Right now, it's the holiday season... enjoy!!
