Koolau Pets Plants & Ponds is a great place with a great selection for finding a new pet friend. It is a clean, well-lit store located in Windward Mall. The store has a pretty good fish selection and a great selection of products, with good prices. It is a family-owned business. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, super happy to help, and very patient. They provide all information on pets and are happy to give advice on what to do. They let customers spend time with animals before taking them home. They ensure pets are healthy enough to go home, providing vet records and covering a first vet visit. They also provide food and other supplies for the journey home. The staff is more than helpful and will even help customers to their cars to unload supplies. Customers can tell the animals are treated extremely well there.
Excellent Customer Service, very professional, understanding and great at satisfying their customers. I had a concern and they resolved it right away with compassion. Didn't hesitate to make me happy and handled the situation will positive attitude. A+ Service

Locking baby puppies in a cage where they don’t even have toys and chew on shredded newspaper? That’s just evil. They’re dogs, not chameleons or insects. I didn’t even explore further as the beginning is just cruel. Give them some freedom, geez.

Staff has ZERO personality and seems less than appreciative that you are purchasing anything from them! I used to feel good about them but that WAS the LAST time I go there or recommend anyone I know to go there! A lot of other companies to give my cash to!
