Very nice lady who owns this shop. I'm in my mid 20's so I was a little hesitant to get my haircut here but she cut my hair perfectly. She also gave me oranges on my way out. Highly recommend!

I hadn't had a haircut in 6 Months due to COVID-19 so I was in dire need of a cut. I called Mam and she took me right in. This was my first time here and I must say Mam did an incredible job. Super nice and very professional. Mam is located in the second floor right at the top of the stairs. I definitely will be returning. Support local!!

Didn’t have time to do my haircut before going on Hawaii but the lady did it in such a nice and gentle way. She was a very nice person to talk with and gave me some local advices. The price is affordable I think I paid 15$ which is nothing compared to the barbers in Waikiki with the same quality of haircut.

I went here last week saturday morning for a very basic haircut. I thought I'd give this place a try since it had a perfect 5 star rating but to my experience wasn't the best. I had my appointment for 1 PM, and when I got there at 12:50, I waited till almost 1:45pm to finally sit down for my haircut because she had a perm to do before me. I asked for a #2 on the sides and two inches off the top. She cut my sides correctly and was doing a good job UP until more people started walking into her shop and she went into a slight panic, she was still cutting my hair professionally but her movements became more sporadic, like she was rushing to get my hair done which I didn't like. She ended up only cutting just the tips of my hair off the top, didn't even cut one inch off the top and just rushed the whole process. I didn't bother to ask her to cut some more because she already took everything off me and was already waiting behind the counter for payment. Keep in mind folks she is the ONLY one who works there, just that one lady. So if you're getting a haircut there, just hope that more people dont walk I side or she will rush your hair like she did to me. She did an "ok" job but definitely not what I asked for.

I would honestly give this place 6 stars if I could. Mam makes you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in. The only thing better than her personality is her skill at cutting hair. As soon as I sat in the chair I knew I was home. Definitely the only place on the island I will get my hair cut whenever I visit. Mam is truly one of a kind. Mam did an incredible job on my haircut today. I asked for a traditional fade to skin and she delivered. I noticed her excellent attention to detail throughout the experience which resulted in one of the best haircuts I've had in years. Mahalo!

Stopped in while on vacation for a haircut and shave before our friend's wedding and Mam did an excellent job! She also was very sweet and very conversational, which was also nice. The price for the services was fair and not expensive, too.
