The team at Gerber Collission & Glass made the process of getting my car repaired so easy! They were all so kind and kept me updated on the process the whole time! My car came back perfect and they even had vacuumed the inside of it for me! Hopefully, will not have to repair my car again but would definetely go back to them!

My car had damage to the rear bumper sustained from me backing into my fence post. After receiving a quote from Gerber to my insurance compqny, I felt confident to have Gerber proceed with the repairs. The turn around time was 4 days. The end product of this company's phenomenal work was beyond my expectations. I have what looks like a brnd new car. Now all the latter said, I wish to give a loud shout out to this company. I was treated with respect and consideration during the entire process from dropping off the car to picking it up. This is a consumate professional car repair company. Thank you Gerber!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars They take FOREVER. And don't seem like they have their shit together. My car was hit in April and I still haven't gotten it fixed mind you it's SEPTEMBER NOWPrior to even making an appointment it took really long to set one up because they never told us what papers they needed or that they already had what they needed and we could had made an appointment already. I took my car in for inspection so they could do their estimate. Annette Pena ( the one that helped me through out this whole thing) told me to email her my insurance's estimate. So I did, That very same day a few minutes after I had left the shop. Mind you this was in JUNE. She told me once she received the papers they would call to set up and appointment to fix my car. They never called, so my mom calls and ends up making an appointment. This whole time I thought I was bringing my car in to fix. NO Annette claims she never received an email from me. I said yes you did bc I emailed you that day. She ends up checking again and she finds it :) she said it ended up in her spam bc there was no subject. SHE LIED I had put a very detailed subject. Also she made my boyfriend look stupid, claiming she had just started so I couldn't have emailed it to her. REALLY? Bc I came in April and it is now September. She Dumb asf. Who ever hired/ trained her did a really horrible job. She had told me that geico takes forever. Really cause I got everything I needed from them but in 3 days when I filed my claim? She's funny. So she said okay now I have to do our own estimate and compare it to geicos and blah blah blah. I was like wait what? Wtf were you doing that day I came in April? Did you not already inspect my car and take pictures? Are you serious ? Why did I even come in today? So now I have I to wait maybe idk another 2-3 months to get my car fixed bc they don't know what the fuck they're doing obviously. So unorganized and do unprofessional. I would recommend taking your business else where unless you wanna wait 20 thousand years to get your car fixed.

What brought me to Gerber:Backing out of a parking place, my Tesla Model S pulled against a concrete parking stop. The stop won. The bumper pulled away from the car.I was able to reattach the bumper well enough to drive.My insurer recommended Gerber as an Authorized Tesla facility.The appraisal:Gerber looked over the damage. Issued an estimate and ordered replacement parts. I continued driving the car until the parts arrived.The repair:On day one I received a text thanking us for accepting Gerber. I could expect status reports as the work progressed.Two days later a text read ‘disassembly had begun…lookin for additional damage…’On day seven the text read “we are finishing up…”On day FOURTEEN a text informed me that my “Tesla was in reassembly”.On day SIXTEEN a text restated (in all caps) “OUR TECH IS WORKING ON REASSEMBLY AND WE SHOULD HAVE IT READY BY TOMORROW”20 calendar days later, the work was complete. I retrieved the Tesla.My assessment:Back on day two (2), Gerber may have found that the skid plate needed to be replaced. When the claim was initiated, I brought the skid plate into the description. I described the skid plate which caught the concrete. This is a part that was inspectable at the day of the appraisal. Instead of a thorough appraisal, I was forced to wait for a part to be shipped.I learned that most (not all) of the texts received came from the insurer, but Gerber had to send them status.The end product appears “as new”.The communication during the repair was worse than bad because I was led to believe the repair was close to completion three times over a two week period. I did not get ANY information about additional damage until I drove the car away.

I made an appointment online and showed up only to be informed that there was a $75 "estimate" fee. I'm assuming that they take off $75 if you use them for the repairs, and if you don't use them, you lose the money. I would like to be told if there's a fee BEFORE I arrive for my appointment.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.I am pretty shocked that the ratings for this establishment are high. I had been involved in a car accident that ruined the left side of my truck. I needed to find something in Kaneohe for convenience. After the initial inspection, they estimated about 2 weeks for the repairs. And I totally understand that an estimate is an estimate. They ended up finding more things once they took the truck apart which meant a longer repair time. Totally fine, I had an awesome rental. What upset me was once the repair was done, they told me to come and pick the truck up at 4pm. They needed to do a final inspection, and clean the car. Upon arrival, my wheel was missing the center cap, and there was a white substance left behind on my car. If they were doing a final inspection and cleaning, how could they miss this? Then I noticed the part of the fender where two pieces met (sorry for my lack of knowledge with car part terms), there was a huge gap. The fender was not placed properly and it was very noticeable.So I called Gerber, brought it to their attention, and their manager asked me to bring the truck back in so they could take a look. I did. They said it was an easy fix and gave the excuse that the technician that worked on my car is no longer with the company. Not my problem. You still gave my car back and it was not repaired well.Anyways, they needed to order a few more parts to fix this problem. They said they'd call back within the week and that the repair would take no longer than a day.I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.Find a better auto body repair shop! Thank me later.

I have worked with Gerber in the past when they were under a different name which escapes me. I unfortunately was involved in a multi vehicle accident in my husband's car at the time and my husband was out of town for several months, leaving me to coordinate repairs. The staff was so helpful and were able to schedule my repairs quickly. I recently was rear-ended (just my luck!) and the other driver was at fault and would pay for my damages. Because I had such a good experience with Gerber in the past, I contacted them for an estimate. They were very fast about scheduling my estimate and were transparent about possible limitations like whether parts would be available since I own a German car. However, they were able to give me a reasonable appointment for my repairs. When I dropped my car off, the rep who assisted me was great about explaining the process to me and offered text updates to inform me of my car's status. I'm so impressed and recommend Gerber without hesitation!

Had an appt on 4/22 for an estimate on my car. It’s been 5 months and I’m still waiting on my estimate to be finalized. Both USAA and myself have called multiple times to figure out what is going on and all they say is someone will call you back and then no one does. The worst communication I’ve ever dealt with.

Worked with James to fix the bumper on our Chevy Silverado. They estimated 3 days turn around but to our surprise they ended up calling to let us know our truck was complete within 7 hours after dropping off our truck. It was such an easy process & the office staff are also friendly! Dropped our truck off at 8:30, James did a walk around, explained what would happen and allowed us to wait in the AC office for enterprise to drop off the rental car. Enterprise was called as soon as I arrived. Pick up was super smooth as well. Upon arrival our truck was being washed. Would totally recommend Gerber to our friends and Family! Located on Kahuhipa across the street from city mill.

Poor service. Called twice to make an appointment for an estimate and they never answered. I went to their website and booked an appointment. Received a call from them several hours later telling be they were double booked and were canceling my appointment. Since I was paying for the repairs myself they couldn't get me in for an estimate for 10 days. Insurance claims are a priority. Waste of time. Probably dodged a bullet.

They took a long time with our car and it wasn't even smashed just rusty. There were pinholes on the paint that weren't there before. They said it was already there but we are very meticulous about our car and they were not very professional about admitting it was from them.

Worst experience with a car shop ever. Dropped off our car mid November. They told us that it’d be done December 10th. December 10th came and went. A few days later after trying to call and nobody answering the phones we had to go down there to find out that it hasn’t even been worked on yet, and now it’s not expected to be done till the 30th of December. Ok we let that go. Now mid December comes and we have to return the rental because insurance only covers 30 days. But wait December 30th came and went. no notice from them at all. So we go down there again because nobody can answer the phone or return phone calls, they say that they need more time. Ask to see the car and all they did was strip the bumper off. Now car isn’t expected to be done till the end of January! By the way when we dropped it off in November they said they have all the parts and were ready to work on it.I mean come on guys if you aren’t going to work on the car, why take it when we could have been using it until you actually had time to work on it. Now we are down a car and scrambling to get 6 kids to and from school and us to work! Heather never called us once. We even called the Waipahu shop to ask how we could get ahold of someone there. They told us the texted the manager and they would call us back….nope they never did. Bad customer service!They finally got back to us after a few days after this post was written. They said that our car would be ready in a week. When it got closer to that week they texted that it will take a few days longer. Yay that day came and we finally got to pick up our car! Only to find out that the rear brake light that they just changed out already had moisture in it… inside the car was covered with shop dust and we found a dent on our dash because they put the front seat All the way toward smashing our basket right in to the dash??♂️ we made them clean the car and they changed the light out a week later. Will never take another car there.

Took my car in for repair, poor communication and they stole my phone charging cable, cigarette adapter for usb, and a box of masks. My parking quarters were also gone. I called and left several messages but they were too busy stealing other peoples stuff to respond. I regret going here but it was recommended by insurance. Avoid avoid avoid!!!Service: Painting
