“Such a better location. Descent size space for displaying items for sale. They may need to expand in the future for furniture, etc. Convenient parking for unloading or loading. Great planning by having a separate space for donations right nextdoor. Really happy for this location.”

“Stopped by Sweet Enemy for some vintage clothing today. The store rocks. Super customer service and friendly staff. Staff was 100% spot on on all the vintage and urban trends for clothing. This place is my favorite vintage shirt shop on the island.”

“Love having 2 harbors locations - fun to check out if you’re in Waikiki since there’s not many non-luxury or non-touristy stores for locals in the area!Smaller location but still great curation of men’s & women’s vintage streetwear, and sneakers!”

“Happened to spot this store from the Safeway parking lot that's down the street a bit. I just had to walk over. They've got an impressive selection of shoes and clothes. Staff was friendly and explained the layout very clearly bc the store is much bigger than it looks. They have an upstairs that has all local businesses, some new and some vintage. They even have a discount room where everything is under $20. Parking is behind the store.”

“This location has a great selection of merchandise: glass ware, furniture, small appliances, cd’s and dvd’s, books, and, of course, clothing. I also like that part of its mission is to help individuals find sobriety.”

“Great volunteers and good selection of items at a reasonable price. They also have a bid box for collectibles and jewelry. Love to shop there and it's a good cause”

“Fantastic thrift shop. Small, but with enough of a variety of things to satisfy any thrifter. Ladies were pleasant and friendly, and everything was very clean and well displayed. Great find!”

“This thrift store and others like it are a very important resource for many service members and their families. I encourage everyone to shop and donate here first before going off base. Your second hand goods can help someone in need and junior sailors could always use your uniform rank and insignias when you advance or retire. New uniforms are expensive, so please make the time to check here first.”

Not for profit, proceeds go to scholarships and community grants, mostly run by volunteers with a few paid staff, all very friendly! “This place is so cute and sweet. Everything's organized and it feels so homey. The prices are amazing and they have so many different things there for anyone. The staff is amazing and they're so nice! Can't wait to go back!”

“So military bases sometimes have thrift stores....how cool is that! Since I like to support our troops and save money, this place was a god send for me (hold your horses, I know proceeds dont fund the troops). Yes, you need to have military access to come here and if you have that you're golden! They had some of the best prices I've seen on the island, I found a vintage Def Leppard shirt for $2 and otherwise found really cheap clothes to wear to the beach and work. It was double punch day when we went so I took part in that and gave the card to my friend who is local. All in all, one of my favorite thrift stores on Oahu!”

“This is a real thrift shop, yo. Good prices, knowledgeable owner, and some real good stuff if you know how to find it. I am glad it is here. If you want a spiffy bourgeois place with nice, well-organized racks and no street folks outside etc please go someplace else, because I don’t really want to see your gentrified attitude in here anyways. But if you want some good deals and some pretty nice stuff, this is a good place!”

“From A to Z lots of everything clothes are clean the over all experience was very pleasant. The prices were very inexpensive. They have just about everything you can imagine and they have a drop off section for donations and best part. You get a slip of paper for a discount for shopping. If you donate the parking, they have handicap parking. There is limited space on the ground floor kind of busy store”

“In all my life, I've never seen better prices in a thrift store than I've seen in Kailua, mostly second hand products, but carry a lot of new products , still in the box, at that same low second hand product prices. It's amazing!”

“Wonderful multi room thrift store that helps Kailua keep some of its old time funky beach town vibe. The volunteers who run it are wonderful, too! Just wish it was open more often. Support their cause.”

“Been coming here for years now, and the staff are always so friendly and helpful! I always look forward to stopping by. Household stuff can be hit or miss but is overall decent, it's definitely my go to thrift store to find clothes though. Shoutout to Natalie who was so wonderful, was very helpful with explaining the rewards card and helping me use my points card yesterday, you guys rock!”

“Found some super cool stuff here but it takes time. There’s unwritten rules when you shop like everyone has to stand back when the staff is dropping new items. Parking can be a pain. But overall it can be fun to treasure hunt here.”

“I have passed by this store so many times but my son saw something that caught his eye so we went it. And wow, aloha shirt HEAVEN!!!! They have a wonderful selection of aloha shirts in all sizes and prices. There is also an area with a few vintage hawaiian dresses as well. Great place to stop by if you are in need of an aloha shirt. And February IS aloha shirt month so stop by here is you need one!”

“We originally found it thinking we could thrift some unique shirts but the actual section is much smaller compared to the photos on Google.

This place is great for figure, used music equipment, game, and media equipment collectors! Some just a bit too high in price for the value but overall cool store.”

“I really enjoyed going to this thrift store. It felt like an actually antique thrift store with nice items and reasonable pricing. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was on the smaller side but they had so many items to look at and shop. Yes they require masks. If you don't have one they do provide. They accept cash or card. Card with a $5 minimum and you have to show ID. Overall my experience was amazing at this low key, hidden little thrift store. I definitely will be going back and bringing my friends and family?”

“The treasure hunt continues. . . at the Central Union Church Thrift Store. I've passed by this store countless times. I always see the open sign on the side of the road every Saturday. Finally decided to check it out. This thrift store is a part of the huge church located at the corner of Punahou and Beretania St. You can't miss it. The thrift store is right before the church along Beretania. There is plenty of shaded parking. It's only open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9AM-3PM. When I went, there were still covid restrictions. A very nice lady sits out front to register everyone coming in, take their temperatures, and limit the amount of customers inside. For first timers, you need to register and sign a waiver form. Not exactly sure why this was needed, but I hope I don't receive late night calls asking for monetary donations over the phone. This store has A LOT of stuff--top to bottom. Everything was clean and well organized, and surprisingly evenly distributed. There's a good amount of Asian style cups and plates and figures if that's your thing. Everything was priced accordingly. Nothing outrageous, but not many great deals. Found a random Miami Dolphins Josh Rosen jersey. Even though I'm a fan. I would never get this lol. Why would anyone even get this in the first place?? When I first caught a glimpse of it, I thought it was #13. Nope! The staff here is super friendly and nice. They also note how much you spent. What's all this information for? Overall, a nice store to be thrifty. Friendly staff, decent prices, and a nice selection of items.”
