They have two locations, Kaneohe Marine Corps Base and in Kailua town next door to Boots and Kimos. Open everyday except Sundays and federal holidays. They are also affiliated with the Co-Op and Share Branching networking. Full service credit union with great rates and friendly service.

Originally came here to sign /finalize our auto loan. So a couple things.... 5/5 for getting us approved in an auto loan since I had NoCredit. I mean angels I tell you, angels! 3/5 not really their fault but, we got stopped at the gate office. They wouldn't issue us a base pass, cuz they(the military staff) just realized the wcfcu bank doesn't have sponsoring authority to civilians. So our loan guy drove up to the gate, he got into an argument with the gate staff saying"brah we been doing this for 10years"!!! It's was pretty funny and he apologized for making us go through that. Anyway we had to jump in his car, and he took us on base. The loan process was easy and had to sign up for a savings acct to complete the loan. I'm forever grateful to get approved. We haven't been late, improved our credit score, and last month we just paid out off!

I've had my account here for over 10 years, but in the last few months customer service has become a thing of the past. Phone calls are not answered or returned. The bank machines for Kaneohe have been closed, but a service fee is charged for using the bank machine at the Hawaii State Credit Union. I will be closing my account!

I've been coming to this credit union for a couple years and they've always been very friendly and courteous. The reason I'm writing this review is because of my gratitude to WCFCU helped me rebuild my credit score. I ended up with no credit card for about two years thanks to college spending. My financial record was spotless after graduation: no personal loans, no student debt, not even a late phone bill. Still, banks wouldn't issue me credit. I couldn't even get a department store card. That's how bad my score was. Once I landed steady work, I applied for WCFCU's secured card. It was no-frills, had a bearable APR, and required a cash deposit for collateral. I deposited $330 into an account: $300 for my actual line of credit and an extra 10% for cushion. (Note: That money is returned if I cancel this card.) This was my second chance. With this credit card, the only thing I charge are my monthly bills: Netflix, Verizon, my local newspaper. My bill is the exact same amount every month and it's paid in full each time. At first, it wasn't a big deal. About six months after getting the secured card, I started getting junk mail from Capital One. In my head, that meant they wanted me back as a customer. If it wasn't for this credit union, I might still not have a line of credit. I might never have learned how many ways good credit impacts your life or to achieve it. I am unspeakably grateful to this credit union for the second chance it gave me to build good credit while still young. MAHALO!

They do not offer 24 hour customer service, which all banks and most credit unions offer these days. Why is this a problem? Twice in the last 4-6 weeks I had a problem with my card where the magnetic stripe didn't work or my card got blocked for security reasons. Since both times this happened on a Saturday afternoon, I did not have access to any of my funds until Monday morning. Saturday and Sunday are the only days I have available for weekly food shopping. Since there was no one I could call and speak to about this problem, I was stuck with no money and no food for the weekend. The one star is to acknowledge that the staff seem friendly enough and as helpful as they can be.

There is a few nice people here but half of them are RUDE or cocky! Especially one teller. I have been banking with them for a couple of years but after my experience today I will be closing all accounts there. Went there a minute before closing and the teller saw me running to the door so she speedily locked the door as the rest of the tellers just smirked at me! Not the kind of service I am looking for! I know I was pushing it but atleast speak to me and not just blow me off. No respect for customers at all! You just lost this customer!!!!!!

Wow, walked in and asked a teller a simple question and got the stink eye and a rude tone in her answer! I believe her name was HAWLEE, or some other strange spelling. I guess they do not want any new members because I will definitely NEVER bank here! *To their credit, the other staff members seemed friendly, but it just takes one bad apple to ruin the entire bunch!
