The location next to the beach and minutes from the airport and local restaurants and shops is unbeatable. I spent many days just lounging on the pool deck or in the pool watching the waves crash on the beach. I appreciated the pool being in the afternoon shade. But the place is looking tired. Windows were filthy. Rust stains on exterior AC vents. The AC units are loud and kept us up at night. The AC unit smelled bad when not running, suggesting maintenance needs improvement. The bathroom was large but had a basic bathtub. We would have enjoyed a couch in our room instead of a table and chairs. The daily resort fee and parking fee is just a cash grab. We got good service from the restaurant and housekeeping staff, but they missed our room one day. The ice machine closest to our room was not working. The laundry machines were unavailable as other guests had damaged them and parts have to come from the mainland.

Very well located
Hotel is beautiful, clean, and COLD. I wish we just stayed here the whole time we were in kauai. Definitely get their breakfast. It was the best place to eat on whole island.

Walkability: Walkable to the beach
Food and drinks: The breakfast was excellent. Best loco moco we had was here. Tried almost everything on the breakfast menu and it was excellent.

I booked one room at the hotel for 3 people. At the reception, we were told that although I paid for a room for 3 people with breakfast, according to some of their internal guidelines, only two people per room are entitled to breakfast. It doesn't seem normal to us when you book for 3 including breakfast and only 2 get breakfast. Is the 3rd one supposed to be starving? Furthermore, the towels here were washed with blood stains. We were shy. The toilet got clogged in the morning, although it was fine in the evening and no one used it at night. They called the pit service to see if someone would come to poke him for us and no one came, so we were forced to go to the toilet behind the lobbies. And the final straw was that they charged us $25 for parking, which seems totally overpriced to me. And so far I have not received the rest of the dollars for blocking the money on the card. It's been 5 days already. I'll wait, then I'll write there.
Noteworthy details: Food only for two per room.

The rooms are gross and filthy including bathroom - & the beds the mattresses had stains on them and there were bed bugs (that bit us and I broke out in hives bc I'm allergic!) so freaking nasty and the staff did nothing- no new mattresses there were also bugs in the Benadryl box that I bought at the gift shop. The bed bugs stayed in our luggage blankets everything! We had to get rid of it all!! Some we were able to save , when we confronted the staff they had the audacity to yell at US ! And they didn't give us any compensation! Definitely do not recommend that gross hotel.

Always good staying with a normal brand. Laundry wasn't available, broke.
Also, if you don't book through Hilton, you don't earn points.

Roaches in lobby and roaches in room. Rooms and pool feel dirty. Overcharged for stay and didn't honor gold status of the guests.

Great air conditioning. Broken ice maker. Elevator was incredibly slow and had cockroaches.

For being a hilton it's not that great! This have a big resort but only 2 washer and 2 dryers. And today is my last day and washer don't work.. rooms don't have a balcony. My bathroom d9est have a shower tub doesn't have a body wash dispenser

I understand why it gets subpar ratings! The front of the hotel is beautiful and grand, but then you get to the rooms. They are dark and dank. The room has low stucco ceilings. The bathroom is tiny and has no exhaust fans or air. The ocean view is not great, and there's no balcony to hear the ocean. The air conditioner blows directly on the bed and sounds like a helicopter is landing in your room! One very uncomfortable chair. Also, it's inconvenient to have to go all the way to the front desk to get pool or beach towels. We can't wait to get out of here! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The pictures are very deceiving. We have stayed in lots of hotels in HI and the one thing I look forward to is sitting on the patio and listening to the ocean and enjoying the view. None of which I can do here.

Stayed here in September. The staff at the reception desk are incredibly friendly & assisted us with any questions we had throughout our stay. There is a small restaurant on site that had good burgers. The beach is right there and we saw a bunch of children snorkeling. Only complaints are the digital key did not work and the rooms are extremely dated. With the price, you’d think the interior would be a lot better.

We were really impressed with this hotel. Our room was amazing nice ocean view. Tiki bar drinks were great and enjoyed the pools. Only thing when we checked in no one went over the pool towels so walked from 2200 rooms to the big pool found no towels had to walk to the desk to get after asking another guest. When we were finished we brought the towels to the room in the morning went to get new towels and was instructed we would be charged for the towels for no return. Luckily the towels were still in our room but someone should have made it clear the towels need to be checked in. Otherwise amazing visit!!!

The hotel's location is excellent ? Located on Coconut Beach in the east ?️, it is very convenient to go to the north and south; the exterior design is spacious and grand, and although there are many parking spaces, you may not be able to find a parking space when you come back at night; there is a small swimming pool and cafe, we It's not used, so it's hard to comment; the service attitude at the front desk is also very good. It's just that the room is old and has a musty smell. There is no door in the shower area, and water easily splashes into the toilet outside. There are no slippers, and the price/performance ratio is not high.

Room is slightly dated but still very nice. Onsite bar and restaurant is very good. There is a resort fee just like every other place nowadays. Beach out front is public and right outside of your hotel room. Absolutely recommend this place!
