Kauai Camera Shop and Creation Nation Gallery is a wonderful and kind gem of a store in Kapaa town. It is the only place on the island to find 35mm film. The shop sells camera accessories like batteries, chargers, polarizers, and neutral density filters for amazing photos, as well as designer bags and handmade straps. They also rent cameras, tripods, and lenses, which is a great and awesome service for visitors in a camera bind. The attached Creation Nation Gallery is an eclectic, colorful, dense, and well-curated collection. It features unique clothes, jewelry, gifts, art, and cool things from Kauai, Hawaii, and all over the world. The gallery also displays amazingly vivid and specialized nature photography from the island. The employees are friendly, helpful, and informative, often providing impromptu lessons and tips. It is a very wonderful shopping experience with so much to look at, making it easy to leave with extras.

I was beyond thrilled to find a small local camera store in Kauai at all. Yes I paid a premium, but considering everything is brought in by boat, it is what it is. Much appreciated.
