This store has everything you need, and the prices are cheaper than ABC store. There are fruits and vegetables, bread and household products. There are many restaurants next to this store, which is very convenient!

My wife loves this store. That is all you need to know, hahaha!
They also have DMV kiosk and are a few minutes from a safety check place.

Good products but the place is FREEZING to an uncomfortable level that makes you want to run away a soon as possible.
I think it must be bad for the employees as well as customers.

I am so disappointed in the Safeway bakery. I preordered a Moana themed birthday cake, flew in from Oregon to throw this party, and ended up with no custom cake! I even called ahead to check and the worker said yes it’s ready in the cold case. By the time I got there, the associate could not locate my cake, or had any memo about it. She even called the other associates to check if any of them recalled any orders and none of them knew a thing. The baker there was kind enough to honor this error by giving me complimentary cakes, but I wanted a half sheet and they only had small cakes that I was left to work with. I sang happy birthday with a full party on small separate cakes. Not what I had imagined after all the planing we did before travel. I give this place a “1” for literally screwing up and forgetting my order, on the day I needed a customized birthday cake! Never again will I ever order a cake from this place.

HOT FOOD. FIRE!!!!!
From Oahu and I spent a month in Kapaa. I went to Kapaa Safeway often. I just want to say you folks have the best hot food at your deli. Who ever is in charge at hot deli needs a raise!!
People you need to try their sweet mango chili sausage!! Safeway on Oahu does not have that! I gonna put in a request at my local Safeway here in Mililani. Fingers crossed! AND your corn dogs tasted like ones I had at Pike Pkace!!! Good job guys!!!

I shop at Safeway Kapaa almost everyday. There are many friendly and helpful employees that work so hard there. Special shoutouts to the sushi and deli departments, they go out of their way to help make sure I get just what I ask for. We're very fortunate to have such a great store both in Kapaa and Lihue!

False advertising. I used to go here for the premade breakfast burritos with egg sausage and potato and liked them. Now they have on screen above hot bar area that you can order them fresh made since none are premade a longer. There is never anyone there that will make them for you. So the signs should be removed.

Occasionally has a good deal but most of the store is overpriced. Got worse once Foodland closed. Store definitely caters to the rich haoles taking over the island. Would rather shop at Costco or Big Save or WalMart or Target or just eat rice and starve.

Safeway for a tourist is okay. Decent food selection, and far cheaper than the local coconut market. It is cheaper than eating out.
