“The location is great-it was walking distance from where we stayed. All the shops were fun and had a great selection of souvenirs. The store made it easy to grab quick meals or groceries and all the restaurants we ate at were awesome. We also took a lei making class-they were super friendly and we all really enjoyed it! If we make it back we’ll be signing up for more of the classes they offered. There’s a nice little park in the center where the kids could run off some energy and the free were fun to watch while we ate lunch.”

“I love to shop here when in Kauai the people are very friendly and things are made in Hawaii that are sold here that makes them special. I wish they had a website so that we could order from them and have things sent to us when we are unable to make it there. Thank you ?.”

“A historic plaza with various shops and eateries. Parking was a challenge. We didn't get a chance to see all it had to offer as most stores were closed. But the pizza and bakery shop was amazing, and I highly recommend it!”

“Passion Bakery Cafe... rare combo of great food and excellent service. The fresh, warm malasadas were outstanding. We ordered a variety of flavors and did not have a favorite because they were all so delicious! We also had breakfast sandwiches, which were well crafted, good size and delicious. Great choice for grabbing a bite or getting food for the road but seriously DON'T MISS THE MALASADSAS... FABULOUS!!!”

“We were looking for gifts to take back to the mainland. This was close to the place we were staying so we came here. The ABC store carries all kinds of touristy things from hats to T- shirts, chocolates to slippers! It’s a one stop shop for tourists!

It has Maui Divers jewelry shop that my wife likes except this one was too small for her. The selections were limited. No matter, it’s a good place to go. It is close to the beach so when you need a drink or a hat or slippers. This is just a few steps away!”

“We loved this place. Nice handmade items in store and some great fire roasted chicken! Best food value on Kauai...1/2 chicken and sides for about $10, July 2021. The guy and his wife were awesome, talked it up with us while he basted the chicken, and all the shop owners were friendly.”
