Food was good. The portion size was smaller than expected. Had a Steak Sandwich with pineapple and Swiss cheese with side salad with papaya seed dressing. The salad was fresh and excellent. The sandwich was smaller than expected but still tasty. Atmosphere would have rated higher however the help used foul language as they were goofing around in the kitchen during slow periods. My wife had Chicken Salad with Papaya Seed dressing. Enjoyed! $43 plus tip. No waitress. Order at the counter and pickup at the counter when ready. Ready in decent time.

The food was amazing, ordered a hand crafted Hawaiian pizza ? , the place is cozy. However, the staff was rude, with attitude, and decided to use a loud blower right next to my table while were eating, so we couldn't continue the conversation because of the loud noise. It's a petty that just the attitude of one person can kill it all, because the rest was amazing.

Great service, helpful employees, large menu. Including ice cream. The coconut was delicious and the Mrs. enjoyed her macadamia nut crunch.

Hands down best pizza I may have ever had in my life. I got the Maya's Mac and Cheese and wish I was staying another day to order more! Service and team are top notch and beers are frosty cold! Wifey got the salad and loved it but was caught stealing pieces of my pizza!

Tipflation! Be prepared for heavy intimidation to pay a healthy tip, without receiving service. Can I choose to tip for good service after recieving the service? Apparently not here! Order your food at the counter, pickup your food at the counter, self-service condiments, throw away your own cardboard containers in self-service trash bins when you're done. What am I tipping for again? Did they sit me at a table, take my order, deliver my food, service my drink, take my dishes away? Nope, but you'll tip as if they do. Being hit so hard so early, I asked what was I tipping for. I was told it was for them to make my food, clean my table, and anything else I needed. This got me to think, does this mean if I pay the listed price, I get raw ingredients cold in a box? I think the aggressive guilting/intimidation by the person taking my order, as they slid the receipt across the counter and circled two suggested tipping amounts with a verbal "to he helpful", prior to getting anything, really set me off. The burger was definitely above average. The table was not that clean, a few crumbs from the previous customer honestly didn't bother me. The ambiance was good. Give an honest price for honest food and I'll pay it. Pay your employees an honest wage and if you want to rely on tips to supplement their wages then provide sit-down service and charge after the meal. If I receive good or even great service I'll tip accordingly! Really.

Great food venue right across the street from the King Kamehameha statue in the Kohola region of the Big Island as this is where King Kemehameha was born. Park here, get delicious food and take pics with King Kemehameha while you wait! Win, win and win!

We eat here because it's the only pizza place in town. They have never done anything to make the place better. I hope they thank God for the employees that are great and keep roughing it out to work there.

The food was great, but we were extremely disappointed with the service (cashier at the counter). We called in our order and were told that the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. When we got there, we paid for our food. The cashier was rude and dismissive in her response to our asking where we should wait and after another 15 minutes asking for our food.

King View Cafe is the perfect pitstop on your way to Pololu Valley Lookout. Whether you're starting or finishing your journey, make sure to come back to this delightful spot. We indulged in the delicious Chicken Teriyaki Burger and the Hula Chicken Melt, both of which were amazing. Don't miss out on their delightful ice creams as well. The option to dine in or take out adds to the convenience. Since Pololu Valley doesn't have restroom facilities, this cafe, just 10 minutes away, is an ideal place to stop, grab a bite, freshen up, and then continue your adventure.
