(This review is for Aerie since there's no differentiation on here between the two on Yelp.) I missed when Aerie was at Ala Moana, but because of the amazing promos/sales at this location and the super sweet employees, I make the drive out here. The workers are so, so sweet. Kimie was so fun to chat with! I never had so much fun talking to any store employee while coming in as a customer before. I wish her the best with everything! :)

If you want to know how Services supposed to be come to this place, Mike and Julie were incredibly helpful and kind and getting me the right clothing that I needed. Well done American Eagle, you train your people very well.

Great costumer service. ( Macy's employees should see what costumer service looks like ) they even gave me the online discount I was like. Oh my ouch wow. Thank you so much. Keep up the great work.

Julie showed us such great customer service. My preteen grand daughter was provided excellent customer service. Julie started a room and assisted our multi generational shopping family from grand child to her mom to grandmother. She looked up items not physically in store to see if it was something that could be ordered or discounted. Warm and friendly we will definitely return!

Carol and Cessna was so amazing like this is by first where we had an amazing, comfortable and felt important to what we were looking for. Carol especially was so awesome and answered all my questions regarding the app and helped me figure things out being that I'm very computer illiterate lol. Thank you both and for sure will probably make you guys our personal shoppers if that's ok with you.

Personally, I get really uncomfortable shopping in clothing stores because the loud music makes me feel pressured to buy something. However, Keona made me feel super welcomed and comfortable during my time at Aerie. She made sure that I found what I needed and made me feel seen for who I am. She is a great example of what a worker should be, and I definitely see myself shopping here more often. Amen

My friend and I were sitting at the grass area at Ka Makana Alii near American Eagle and noticed a beautiful girl walk past us with the cutest green workout outfit on. I had to ask her where she got it. She pointed and said right over here at Aerie inside American Eagle. Of course I jumped up and ran straight in to get the exact outfit she had on. Her name is Carol and she assisted me with my size. She was very sweet and knew exactly how the sizes fit. I normally wear a large but she suggested I get one size up since the clothes run smaller. She was right. The XL was a perfect fit. I couldn't fit the sports bra which was a bummer because I'm top heavy. But I'll definitely come back and buy more because Carol show cased the brand outside of the business. Great way to market. They also give military discount. Thanks Carol for brightening up our day in that green outfit, you rocked it girl!

Decent location but always get the vibe that they think I'm stealing. I'm pestered incessantly. They pop out of nowhere and surprise me and stand in my way. Pretty annoying when I usually spend a couple hundred there everytime I go and have an American eagle credit card. Way to make me feel like a valued customer.

I came in to purchase a gift. This location is located in Kamakana Ali'i near the center courtyard area.I walked in and saw many employees around but no one greeted me. I walked around for about 20 min and finally found something and saw employees talking to other customers while doing so. I then walked to the register and waited for about 7 minutes as the cashier was helping a customer with a return and purchase. I waited patiently. She looked up at me but did not say a word. Another male employee walked right in front of me and didn't say anything. After the 7 minute mark, the male employee finally went to the register and offered to ring me up. He was nice when assisting me.I worked in retail for a very long time years ago and know what it's like to be waiting in line. Being in that industry, you know that telling a customer that you or someone will be right with them always helps and greeting customers is always important for many reasons. I was a bit disappointed with their customer service. They had some decent sales going on but I didn't realize how much clothing was for teens. I had purchased a pair of denim shorts and a cute dessier tank top. Although the shorts were on sale, my total was a little over $80. The clothing here appeared to be nice for teens and thought it was great that they also had a separate area called Arie for under garments and workout clothing.

I do want to start off by sharing that I absolutely LOVE AE and Aerie. Today their manager assisted me greatly with an exchange and a price adjustment on an item that went on clearance after I purchased it. Their employees are also always super helpful and are willing to help when needed. However, there was a day where I noticed another manager on the Aerie side completely disrespect an employee and spoke rudely in front of customers. I actually caught it on Live Photo while taking pictures in the store This was on Tuesday, May 17 around 8:30pm. A young woman employee approached my boyfriend and I welcoming us in and asking us about our day. She directed me to sale items and new styles that they got in stock. I had a very pleasant conversation with her about our nails and was happy that she directed me to the flare pants I was looking for. (They were 50% off ahh!!!) But not even 5 minutes after our conversation ended, we heard her manager SCOLDING HER about something. It did not sound ethical and we were shocked that she even spoke to her employee like that. It was rude! She said something along the lines of: "Well I need you to do what I told you to do." As if her employee was not just assisting us a customers. As a matter of fact this manager, which I later learned her name was Suzie, did not address us greet us or assist us in anyway. Miss Suzie could really work on her customer service skills, and management skills. I have been a store manager myself and never have I ever spoken to even my most troubled employees in that manner. Not only are you embarrassing them in front of customers but you are also discouraging their performance as an employee. There are many different ways to instruct your workers to get something done, but yelling at them is not it.

Elissa was absolutely great with helping me find the perfect matches! She greeted me so pleasantly and professionally. She definitely takes the time to get to know you and what you're looking for. She helped me find the prefect bra and always checked in on me to ask if i had any questions. She was very genuine in our conversations and gave me honest opinions. I definitely recommend everyone to ask for Elissa to help you, she will give you the best customer service and advice!On the side note though, absolutely love AE! I am obsessed with their panties and bras. They are so comfortable and cute at the same time. I love how AE is all about promoting cute fashion with comfortability. They always have great sales going on, so definitely track their posts on Instagram too catch the best sales!

Fair warning to everyone, this store does not deserve the recognition it gets. The manager is actually pathetic for allowing their workers to be bullied and threatened by other workers. If you have good morals, don’t support this store or this location at least. Hollister has okay customer service but at least it does not tolerate harassment… You’re better off shopping there anyway with the sales that have been going on in their jeans. If I could rate this store 0/5 I would 100% do it.

Huge shoutout to the Aerie girls working Black Friday! Beyond the sweetest and most helpful. Tiani was sooo kind I freaking loved her energy and because of all those girls as well- I'll be coming back!
