Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa offers a fantastic experience for families with young children. The resort features a variety of activities, including character meet-and-greets, swimming pools, gift shops, and local markets. The rooms are well-equipped with full kitchens and are clean and functional. Guests can easily access many nearby attractions within an hour's drive. The resort boasts unbelievable amenities, with pools, water slides, and a gorgeous beachfront property. Disney characters are everywhere for the kids to enjoy, and guests can indulge in tasty treats like mickey snowcones. The resort has three pool areas, two slides, a lazy river, and a great beach for swimming, with complimentary chairs available. However, some guests have expressed disappointment with the limited dining options and lack of accessibility to popular restaurants, particularly for character breakfasts and other dinners. The Ulu Cafe, a grab-and-go option, has been criticized for its high prices. Additionally, the resort's luau has been described as subpar, with a limited menu and lack of a whole roasted pig. Despite these challenges, the resort's lifeguard team has received high praise from guests, who have described them as well-trained, alert, and genuinely caring for the safety of everyone, especially the children. The lifeguards' dedication and attention to detail have left a lasting impression on visitors, who feel incredibly safe and admire their professionalism.
Went there for the Character Breakfast at Makahiki Restaurant, and it was awesome. The French Toast was AWESOME. Malasadas were very good, and everyone enjoyed their food. Can't wait to stay at Aulani next time we go to Hawai'i!

I am not a Disney fanatic by any means but I have to say Disney did an amazing job blending Hawaiian culture and the magic of Disney!
