How is it that the company sends you a email they expect you to sign it and send it back in the mail so that they can notarize it somehow without you being officially there is it is required by state law.

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had, worst customer service all the way to there corporate, the only time I could get someone in the phone is when my adjuster called and the lady was so rude. We are still dealing with them because there is always a problem. When your car gets totaled it’s a frustrating experience and they have made it even more frustrating. Originally said our car title was salvaged and was gonna give us no money this was only fixed when I threaten to bring a lawyer involved. NEVER USE THEM.

Worst experience buying cars from this auction.
They sell SALVAGE vehicles as clean title and after you pay they report it Salvage. These people don't deserve your business.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every time I sent in a power of attorney, it was rejected without any reason given. When calling the office I was always given a different answer as to next steps. No one coordinates or talks to each other. It has been a month and a half and I still haven't been able to receive payment for my car. I wish USAA would end their partnership with them as it has really soiled my opinion of their services. If you have any choice at all, don't use them. If you have to work through them because of your insurance, I'm so sorry.

Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience with Copart (0 star)
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Copart in handling the salvage of our vehicle. As a global provider of online vehicle auction and remarketing services, Copart's reputation led us to believe that we would receive professional and timely assistance. However, our recent encounter with your company has left us thoroughly disappointed.
Following the declaration of our vehicle as a total loss by our insurance provider, USAA, Copart was engaged to tow the vehicle. Regrettably, what followed was a series of frustrating events that highlighted Copart's lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction.
Despite waiting six days without any communication from Copart regarding the status of our vehicle, we were left with no choice but to take matters into our own hands. This involved personally transporting the vehicle to the Copart location due to the tow company's failure to fulfill their obligations.
This experience has underscored a severe lack of coordination and accountability within Copart's operations. The fact that we were compelled to undertake the transportation of the vehicle ourselves reflects poorly on Copart's commitment to customer service and logistical proficiency.
Additionally, the excuse provided by Copart, suggesting that the tow company attempted to locate the vehicle, is simply unacceptable. If there were genuine issues with locating the vehicle, basic customer service protocol dictates that we should have been promptly informed.
Furthermore, as a military family where time is of the essence, the lack of consideration and accommodation for our circumstances by Copart is deeply disappointing. Copart's failure to recognize or accommodate our busy schedules is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company's values.
In light of the gross mishandling of our situation, we have been compelled to sever all ties with Copart. The level of unreliability and disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by your company is simply unacceptable.
In conclusion, my experience with Copart has been nothing short of a nightmare. The incompetence and negligence displayed by your company have left me deeply dissatisfied. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider doing business with Copart until these issues are addressed and rectified.

It was coordinated with All State that Copart will be taking care of getting my car as it was deemed a total loss. On 12/14/2024, I spoke with Nicole on instructions and forms I needed to complete. She said the driver will contact me directly to get my car towed and she let them know to come on Saturday (12/17/2024) between 12pm-4pm. I’ve never received a call from any driver and no one showed up to tow my car. It doesn’t help that Copart is closed on the weekends so I can’t get in touch with them and with the upcoming Monday holiday, I doubt there is anyone who is able to assist me in a timely manner.
I wish they were more organized and gave the phone number of the tow driver who will be coming to tow the car, otherwise I’m left frustrated with no information to go off of. Totally unhelpful

Employees don’t know what they are doing at all. Tried to double charge me a consignment fee for selling my car. Made it such a hassle to pay in cash then try and take out of the money my car went for. When confronted they made my wife wait an hour to talk to manager. They don’t like to give receipts, information about your cars lot number or anything really. You have to call and find out. Terrible service and management.

A pleasant experience! As soon as I clicked accept on "okaying" contact via phone on the website, the mainland Copart call center called me to get things set up. Once they had the information they needed, they transferred me to the local Hawaii facility to continue coordinating tow pickup of my vehicle and sent me a purchase agreement. The lady at the local office spotted a correction I needed to apply to the title. Once completed and verified, she called back so we could set up a pickup day and informed me that the tow truck driver would call me the day of to give me a heads up when they were headed my way. Tow truck driver arrived with the agreed amount in a check and I was done in about 5 min. Finally, Abalette (AGM), was able to rapidly provide me with an acknowledgement receipt as soon as the vehicle arrived to the facility so I could check out of MCB Hawaii PMO. You have to call for the receipt though as it is only available upon request. Well run operation from my perspective.

Not sure about all the other reviews on here, but I’ve been really impressed with Copart’s Customer Service. Due to an error I had title issues with lots of associated fines and fees, and they offered to help me take care of it. Very impressed with their level of customer service, would recommend as a car seller.
