I went in for a haircut a little while ago and I had Tiffany. She was wonderful! She asked me what I wanted and only cut off as much as I asked for. She checked with at different steps to make sure she was giving me the hairstyle I asked for. This is my second time here for a hair service and I am very pleased. The first time I had my hair done for my birthday and it was perfect!

It has been a week since my appointment at Cosmic Beauty, and my hair is better than expected for a week out. I actually think my hair will hold up for a while after the service I received.The salon is clean, comfortable, and well appointed for mani/pedis and hair styling services.The staff was polite, there were no weird, uninformed comments, I wasn't constantly stared at, and no one asked to touch my hair as when I went to another salon in town.That being said, Jerae was a trooper and a professional who takes hair care services seriously. She was kind considerate, and most importantly, gentle and thoroughly professional with her hair styling techniques.She has no fear. She is confident in her skill set and took my appointment as an opportunity to learn and explore.My head is a lot, a lot to handle even with having shorter hair, and Jerae did not back down. A number of hours later, I walked out of Cosmic Beauty, having had the best salon experience ever.I was only able to give her an okay tip this time. But I look forward to returning and compensating her for her patience and skill.My mother is extremely pleased with the way my hair turned out and thinks Jerae is a miracle worker.Please excuse any grammatical mistakes in this post

Worst manicure and pedicure I’ve experienced. Asking her to file my nails seemed to be an inconvenience. I didn’t get to pick the scent to my pedicure, she wouldn’t double coat my nails with polish, my massage lasted 5 mins for my legs. For a gel mani and pedi my entire service lasted 65 minutes from the moment I checked in until I paid. That in itself is a problem. The prices are high so I would expect quality time to relax and unwind. I left with toes that aren’t completely painted and with nails that were not filed after gel curing so I had to file them myself in the car. I tried to email the salon rather than posting a review but no response. Don’t waste your money.Services: Manicure

So I used the website to book a haircut at 3:15pm for the next day. They called me a little later and asked if I could do 4 pm instead. I agreed. Day of appt I was a few mins from entering they called and said the hairdresser was still with a customer, do I mind 4:15? I said sure. Wasted time walking the mall. Arrive at 415 and customer service said she’s almost done and have a seat. So I sat and sat until 4:45. During this whole time no notification of we re really sorry, no updates, NOTHING. Same people manning the customer service desk. I walked out at 4:45. One star just because they kindly called me to let me know my hairdresser was running late. Customer service is seriously lacking here. I should have taken that cue on the first strike asking me to come in at 4. You lost a customer.

Tiffany is amazing! My hair is so beautiful again because of her. I haven't cut my hair since my original stylist moved off island, Tiffany did everything I asked for and more. I highly recommend her as a stylist. Mahalo cosmic beauty and Tiffany!!

I was 1/4 of a party of 4. We all had different services but the one thing we all had was pedicures. 3 of us got massages but 1 of us didn't and her overall service felt rushed. We all paid the same for the pedicure. Needless to say- she won't be returning for future services. I'm on the fence because my services and experience was good- but I feel it unfair that one of us didn't get what was paid for and I don't know if next time I'll get everything included.

For clientele to be mostly women, I was disappointed in the lack of consideration for me having to get back to my family. I'm so sad to be leaving this review, because I truly thought I had found my nail home. I've been coming here for a few months and always saw Ms Lisa who is AMAZING! If you decide to try this place, go see her. She is great, friendly, quick, and does an incredible job. So over the weekend, I procrastinated and was not able to get an appointment with Ms Lisa (my fault, I take full responsibility for that). So I made an appointment with Jasmine to see how things would go. My appointment was for 3:15. I came in the guy tells me she's running behind and needs about 45 minutes. I then told him I couldn't afford to be away from my daughter (1year old) for too long. I left, and decided to return later, around 3:50 because they had never messed up before and everyone makes mistakes right? When I returned, he tells me he put me in for 4:15. I'm thinking that's an hour and not 45 minutes, but don't say anything because I didn't tell him I was coming back, so they weren't prepared. He gets me in the water at 4:10 with another woman beside me. At 4:30, my feet were getting cold. About 5 minutes later, the woman came in and told us to give them about 10 more minutes. By 4:45, my toes were starting to prune and my patience was out. At 5, a woman walks in and asked if I had gel, and since I did, she got started on the other woman next to me instead. I always note in my reservation that I have gel that needs to be removed. This is when I just left. Honestly, things happen, I totally understand that. But I would have much rather just been told that they couldn't squeeze me in that day. I'm a breastfeeding mom, so being away from my child for long periods of time without preparation is really hard. You all have a beautiful salon that normally flows well, and do great work. I truly hope you read this and learn from it. Sadly, as much as I love Miss Lisa, I don't want to return based on this experience.

The young woman (Bridgette) who did my nails didn't paint close to my skin so when I left it looked like I had grown out my gel manicure for about two weeks. And she did a terrible job shaping my nails, they're all uneven. The pedicure was nice but very rushed. You could tell she took her time with the butchered manicure so she could spend less time with the pedicure. She's young so she's still learning.

I don't appreciate the way this place does business. I was charged for the citrus pedi, prior polish removal, French tip, sterilizer and gel polish. The technician put all the charges in the computer but then the manager/owner came to the register, looked everything over, told me the total was $92 and if I wanted to add a gratuity. Sure, add another $20. She charges me and then she says "oh, we didn't charge you for the gel." She didn't hand me a receipt so I looked at her confused and she goes you pay another $15. The shop was closing and I was last one there: I felt she was rushing me out so without argument, I paid the $15. She didn't give me the receipts, so I asked for them. I went outside to review them and was like..."this lady charged me twice for gel polish." But of course their doors were closed. With taxes, I paid $132 for this pedicure and I am sick to my stomach. I overlooked the fact that the area they have the 3 pedi chairs is cramped and the nail techs have zero room to maneuver. I overlooked the fact that my technician had super long fake nails that poked me here and there and the fact that my pedi was mediocre i because the nail technician had good customer service and gave a good leg massage. I knew better than to be the last appointment of the day because I know the techs are tired, however, I work A LOT and live an hour away from Kapolei and I'm coming during business hours so I thought I'd be ok. I needed to do something for me for my mental health; I had to be ordered by a doctor to do something nice for myself- that's how serious this appointment was to me. I can overlook the fact that my pedi wasn't perfect because I know my technician is human and she's just trying to make a living - let me be clear my complaint is about BEING RIPPED OFF AT THE END OF THE SERVICE. I am not at peace with what happened; this is petty theft and I wonder how often they do this to other people who like to avoid conflict. I'm not looking for an apology or a refund. I should've asked for the receipt the first time she charged me. I should've not let her charge me a second time without verifying the first charges. I see the things I could've done to prevent this, however, the proximate cause of this issue was this lady overcharging me. Im in search of a place where I can regularly get some self care....ANYWHERE BUT HERE. If you come here, make sure you know what's being charged and have a voice to protect yourself from getting swindled.

Would not reccomend. Went in with a friend and had pedis done. They seemed very stand off-ish. Not really friendly. Didn't cut my nails straight and didn't clean under nails. I was already irritated at this point and just wanted to get out of there. The worst pedicure ever. Also, the girl that did my nails had fake long nails on so she was slower and everytime she filled my nails her nails was stabbing my feet if I could I would give them no stars!

Got my hair cut by Tiffany. She did exactly what I asked for and did an awesome job. The place is very nice and neat. I will Definitely be going back here for my next hair cut.
