I Went to do a safety inspection at GoodyearKapolei. It didn't pass because they claim I needed to get new CV boots, new axel, new tires etc etc.
They said come back tomorrow to get all these things done then we will give you a passed inspection sticker.
Where I live there are strict rules in the parkinglot to have a current safety inspection current. So now because I was unable to get the safety sticker right away because i needed to return with enough money to do such a large job, my car was towed to VIP Towing in Honolulu.
So instead of Goodyear just passing me my car was towed and had to pay $332 Towing fee.
I went to another reputable location to do a safety inspection and I passed with out a mention of needing all the things Goodyear mentioned. There was no need for it!
Went back to Goodyear for a refund for the incompleted safety inspection. For one day it processed. Now looking at my bank statements it was canceled on their end. Unbelievable. Don't take advantage of people.
I hope this helps others with making a decision about their business dealings at Goodyear.

Worst place to do oil change. My mom took her car in for a oil change and they didn’t tighten the oil can tight enough oil was dripping all over my driveway worst service ever

Went for safety check, paid $26, they told me failed inspection due to all 6 windows tint too dark, score 27, needs to be 35 to pass
Huh? Passed every other year, used car so I never put on the initial tint but Goodyear said may have gotten darker over time, this sounded all sus to me, especially when I went to tint shop and tint guys told me odd to get datker over time and only 4 of 6 windows are actually tinted
So in the end I decided to tint with compliant degree of tint and hundreds of dollars of new tint job later I returned to Goodyear to get safety check signed off on, so second time in long line, having to present for second time reg and insurance paperwork and still waiting for the one inspector to sign off

Bad customer service. Was looking for tires. Guy at the front was very rude and disrespectful to the point where he felt like he needed to follow me to my car. Do not suggest anyone going here.

The only problem is, it's hard to find, and there are no signs on the street to direct you. Drive southeast through the entire shopping center, then make a left turn to drive around to the back of all the shops. That's where it is. Service is responsible, courteous, patient, and thorough. Prices are good.

I would like to say that our sales sista that helped us on Friday also helped us today Monday the 13th of may.and her name is Bri Deluna and she was awesome great customer service she went beyond to make sure we had everything we asked question and she answered all of them ....great work Bri...u well see us often wen we need to get service...I also wanna say dat the head guy dat does safety check not sure if his name is mark he is awesome as welll...great customer service...they both have great personality's...we have found a home to service our vehicles now..keep up the awesome work....??

I arrived at 9:35am and went to the counter to ask about how long a walk in state inspection would be or if I should just return another day with a scheduled appointment. Stood at the counter for over 15 min while the woman behind it completely ignored me and just looked at her computer. She didn’t acknowledge me the entire time I was standing in front of her waiting, I said excuse me and was ignored. If I’d had an appointment and been left standing there I would’ve been even more upset because she wasn’t even checking anyone in. Would NOT recommend going here if you want any kind of service from their front desk. Can’t speak to the actual services.

I had an *appointment* at 8am and was waiting till after 4pm to get my brakes fixed. **They had the parts already** and did not need delivery. They need to hire more people, it's severely understaffed and makes everything unnecessarily difficult not only for the customers but also the workers. What's the point of the appointment at this rate?

Arrived with no appointment and was able to be seen and taken care of within the hour. Workers are great and the price was very reasonable.

Quoted my friend $1200 for a rotors, pads and a serpantine belt replacement. Car had less than 60,000 mi. and didn't need the belt until 100,000. Upon inspection, only pads needed replaced. Rotors were fine. Scam of a shop.

Always great service when I come to Goodyear. From getting an oil change, to something more complicated, I’ve always been satisfied. Bri is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and explains every detail very well to the point that I run out of questions to ask! Will definitely continue to bring in my cars.

First off they don’t answer the phone. They stand right next to it while it rings all day long. So you can’t even call to ask if they have availability.
Second, when you making an appointment in person it’s useless I made 0800 am appointment and wasn’t even able to check in till after 0830 and didn’t get my car back till after lunch for a inspection. The next time I made the mistake of using their services for an inspection I was asked to fix a minor item and I was told I could come back and pick up my sticker anytime, however when I showed up they made me make an appointment for next week.
This is not how people should do business. Don’t waste your time driving here go somewhere local where they actually care about you and keeping their appointments.
