I've been a member with this credit union for a very very long time! It used to be so good when Vera, rose and Juny was there. Now it's all new people and they don't really know you. They put a hold on my check for the very first time and I couldn't understand why? It was from a well known company and this has never happened to me before. I'm a very loyal customer and Manny put a hold on my check without evaluating my account as to how long I've been a member and have good credit

I've been with HawaiiUSAFCU for just about 20yrs now and I never encountered any bad experiences. No matter how many new representatives I've come across, both @ Waipahu & Kapolei branches, everyone has a positive attitude and are willing to help me or direct me to who or how I can get the help that I need.

A few weeks ago, a teller suggested I make an appointment to see an advisor to change my account. I guess there was a misunderstanding. When I went in today, Ivan helped me out. He was very personable and professional!

This must be the slowest Hawaii USA on the island. It's Wednesday at lunchtime, on a payday, the 15th, and there's only 3 tellers and 1 desk person. I would assume the manager would have planned more appropriately to not only have enough coverage for the day but for certain times of the day like lunch and after work.... Nope. I'm second in line and have been waiting for over 15 minutes. There are exactly 8 people behind me that due to social distancing is going outside the door. My advice, replace, educate and train your manager and maybe ask your staff to cut down on the small talk when the lines are getting really long.

I am not too happy with the wait for the services that the bank provides. I also am the co-signer for my sister's vehicle loan and it has been a headache to try to arrange appropriate communication timelines for when payments are due or missed. I dont know who else to speak to and it seems like every time its a new person we have to explain everything to. I understand the complexity of the situation and protecting the account. But as the co-signer, knowing the account number and being the secondary payer source, I would hope they would honor my wishes on how to handle the account and assure payment. My sister is going to try to refinance soon and I am going to be free of this whirlwind of upsets and delays. I would excuse the lapse to COVID-19 but this started prepandemic.

Walked in not one person there to greet or help nobody behind the counter cared to acknowledge me sat in the waiting area for 10 minutes for reps to ignore me as they walk by walk up to the counter to get some help and to sit down with someone who didn't even want to sit down with me. And they just give me the run around tell me they cant do nothing and send me out never going back to this location

Went to the bank today to do a simple deposit/withdrawal transaction. What made my day though was the customer service received today from Des. For one, she remembered my name after only meeting me one time a few weeks ago (and I've been with this bank for about 5 years now) and to add, she always makes me feel so welcomed and comfortable discussing whatever concerns I may have or just really taking the time to explain things I may not understand when opening an account for my son. Her customer service is amazing! If you ever need someone who is patient and kind enough to explain things to you, she's your go to person!

I’ve been with other banks before and by far, HawaiiUSA is the best bank for me. They always strive to assist their clients the best way they can. They have outstanding customer service. At the Kapolei Branch, I’ve had very positive experiences with many employees. I apologize for not remembering everyone’s names but I’d definitely like to recognize Naomi in the loan department. In the past, I’ve also had assistance from Lester in financial services. Also, all the tellers and management there have been amazing and should be recognized. Thank you for all of your hard work!
