Today was my first time at Mehana Salon and I had a fantastic experience with Jenny. She fit me in last minute, was incredibly friendly and treated me with aloha. Jenny is truly great at texture and really listened to my needs. The parking was easy, and the location felt very welcoming, clean, and professional. The entrance might look more like a home than a business, but you're welcome to walk right in. Inside, there's a reception counter, and her studio is well decorated with a customer focused atmosphere. For a stylist with 20 years of experience, the price was very reasonable. Plus, they offer convenient online booking services for new and returning guests. Highly recommend Mahana Salon!

If you want a bad haircut come here. 1 star because giving a zero isn't an option.
Mine was choppy/overly thinned out and burned with their styling tools. All I asked for was a trim I guess that means chop my hair off please. They were also very rough and seem to be rushing to get me out of there. It took probably less than 25mins to wash, blow dry, cut, style, and destroy my hair. Pulled my hair and stuck their fingers in my ear. She would put all my hair in one hand and literally pull my head up while washing it. I still paid for this horrible haircut which was at least $80 and they got rude when I didn't wanna tip. On top of all that the place was not cleaned before I came to sit down. The tools were clearly still out from the last customer along with all their hair. So yes come here if you want a wet willy and bad haircut.

Jenny is amazing! She answered all of my questions about getting a Brazilian Blowout for the first time. And she trimmed my hair exactly the length I requested. The results were incredible. My hair looks and feels amazing.

Worst experience of my whole life. The owner of the salon took me in. I had asked her to cut 1 inch off just to trim the ends and I left the salon crying because she had cut 11 inches off. I've been growing my hair out for years and all that work caring for my hair and the cost of expensive oils - GONE! My hair used to be up to my waist and the healthiest it's ever been- I'm devastated! The snip was so quick she had cut 10 inches in one go, not little by little. I had started crying it felt so violating- on top of it all she was gaslighting me saying "that is one inch" I had taken a video of my hair before coming in and there's proof of how much hair she'd cut. She also swept up the hair on the floor as soon as she cut it. Very very very wrong. This whole experience felt so painful for me. I hope nobody falls prey to the same experience I had at this salon.

My friend referred me here to Shari and I had a really good relaxing experience. She was so nice and attentive and I'm glad that I chose to see her over going to another salon and stylist. I had a cut, low lights and styling done and not for the astronomical cost many other salons are charging. It was very important to me to find someone to do my hair again as I hadn't had a salon appointment in over a decade. Shari is a professional who knows how to do hair and it shows through her quality work! I got many compliments from my family & friends.

I go to Raelyn Fernandez and have for a few years. Mehana Salon has individual stylists that have their own clientele. Rae is amazing, always on time, and she can cut, style, and do different color techniques. The salon is clean, very chic, and has plenty of parking.

Outstanding Customer Service! I was taken care of by the owner Jenny who was very helpful and extremely professional. I came in for a walk-in consultation and all of my questions were answered followed by the proper care I needed. Jenny was very thorough and knowledgeable, a true master of her craft! Jenny was very friendly and welcoming. We had nice conversations, and I really enjoyed listening to her stories. The place was very neat and clean. My haircut was really cute, just like how I wanted it. She was also able to squeeze in my husband's haircut at the same time, and we were very happy that he didn't have to wait for an extra hour and a half. We wish her lots of luck and many blessings in the future and definitely will go back when we visit here in Ko Olina.

I’ve been been getting my hair done by Jenny for about 10 years now. She is an excellent hair stylist who listens and is able to accommodate to my hair needs. I tend to ask a lot of questions regarding hair care and she always gives helpful advice. The salon itself is clean and has a welcoming feel to it. It is a bit far from where I live but the drive is definitely worth the great service. :-) highly recommend!Services: Bang trim

Worst cut of my entire life. I asked for two inches off, some of it is by my chin. I was concerned when she took out the trimmer, more and rightfully concerned when I heard chopping when she was “softening”. I don’t even know how to fix this. There’s no way these stars are authentic. Do NOT go here!

We go here to see Nani! She is amazing! Even when you don't know what you want to do with your hair, she can recommend what's best for your hair type and face shape. We always leave there happy. She does ombre powder brows as well! The salon is a relaxing environment and there are a few different hairstylists there with a variety of schedules. I highly recommend you go and check them out!
