Mitzi, shop owner, is the kindest, sweetest lady. Her shop is located in Kapolei between the library and police station nearest Haumea st. She's a few doors down from the Post office. She sells an assortment of drinks, snacks, popcorn, slurpees, and even makes little bentos like mixed veggies, breakfast bentos. She also makes the best musubis. If you're in the area and need some munchies, definitely make a stop to see her.

This is by far my favorite popcorn spot! Plain and Hurricane are both equally amazing! Mitzi is THE BEST! Call ahead to order your popcorn! Card is accepted on purchased over $5.

Located next to the Kapolei post office, Kapolei Mini Mart (or as we like the call it, "The Little Store"), is a great place for on-the-go snacks such as hot dogs, musubi and the best: HURRICANE POPCORN! The owner is very nice and friendly. FYI she takes cash or card (for minimum purchases over $5!) There are other little snacks and goodies here. She also has little packs of Tylenol or Benadryl for sale if you ever need. As of now, her hours are 7:00am-4:30pm. With the current COVID-19 situation, she is trying to stay as open as long as possible... Cheers to Kapolei Mini Mart, home of the best popcorn and snacks in town!! Thank you for being open when other businesses around us are starting to temporarily close...

Convenient little store for snacks and drinks. They have a few things to choose from for a quick lunch, but the highlight for me is the POPCORN! Popcorn can be ordered Plain or Hurricane style. Hurricane style includes butter, furikake, and Mochi crunch. The Small size is around $3.50 and is more than enough for me! But I occasionally order the X-large for party favors or for the movie theaters. Others have done the same because on some days she has a list of names and orders of huge popcorn bags all lined up on her counter. ^.^ (I honestly think that her Hurricane popcorn is way better (and cheaper!) than movie theater popcorn). Try it for yourself!!

Kapolei minimart is a nice little shop with manapuas, popcorn, sodas, and other little snacks. The shop is run by the owner and her aunt, both whom are very nice. The prices are about the same as 7-11 or a little more; however, you pay for convenience and support a locally owned store.
