Mildred was very helpful as soon as my boyfriend and I walked in. She answered every question politely and personally until we made our selection. She was very patient as we browsed, never once rushed us or pressured us to get something even though we weren’t sure we would at first. We were also able to get the watch we chose resized in about 20 minutes thanks to Adam. He was very kind and accommodating when we asked for it to be resized once more as well. He was articulate without being condescending, patient, enthusiastic, and engaged with us comfortably. 10/10 would shop again.

I'm going to start this with a little background just so it all makes sense. I ordered a ring from a small business to propose to my now Fiancé and when I had received the ring I purchased some insurance from one of KAY'S other companies but was told this insurance should carry over. That being said my Fiancé took the ring in to get it resized to fit more snuggly around her finger and we come to find out that the insurance I paid about $200 for was never put into the system (stike one). Now I go back through my email and find the receipt proving the ring is covered so they look at it and upon glancing at the gold stamp they see 18GK and say that this means it's plated gold so they can't resize it. A VERY quick Google search shows the stamp they are referring to is an 18GeK stamp, which means it's electrocuted plated gold. The stamp upon the ring has no e however nor was there a gap between the G and the K that would possibly house an e therefore there is no marking on the ring that says it is plated gold and yet they still refused service for the ring (strike two). They also proceed to tell me after I showed them the original description of the ring and how it says it's pure gold and not plated they point out how the original description says moissanite and refuse service due to this even after I explain to them that I had the gems custom done and any person with half a brain could easily tell the difference between Emerald, sapphire and moon stones when compared to moissanite but they still tried to tell me it's moissanite (strike three). So now they begin telling me that they feel that the insurance shouldn't have been sold to me in the first place but also don't know if they can give me a refund for it either (strike four). So now we find ourselves being forced to pay $100 to have the ring completely appraised someplace else because apparently KAY doesn't offer appraisals (strike five and six). So, with all of this said and done, we now have to wait a week for our appraisal to come back so KAY will honor their worthless insurance. Oh, and on another note as well another customer had come in to return a product for over 3k, and KAY proceeds to send the receipt to me instead of the proper customer (strike seven). So people if you wish to trust your credit card information with a bunch of incompetent fools that can't even process a simple return properly OR tell the difference between an opaque milky white stone and a completely clear stone then by all means spend your hard earned money here at KAY. Me personally, however, I will never be returning to such incompetence.

It was wonderful having Keiko at the Kapolei store helping me decide on what jewelry I wanted to get as a gift. She showed me several options and was very patient with my uncertainties. With that said, she made me feel relaxed and comfortable as if I was shopping with a friend. Thanks, Keiko for the great, fun and wonderful customer service!!!

We have been a number of times over the years to the Kapolei location at Kamakana Ali’i. Each time we have needed anything, the staff has always been incredibly accommodating and helpful. Even with our wedding coming up within a month, Mildred and Loke removed any worries about our wedding ring. They were just so helpful and really made us feel taken care of. Moreover, Adam, the location manager, has personally helped us with unexpected turns. I highly recommended this location and its staff to anyone who is looking to get engagement and wedding rings. Truly a devotional service at the Kamakana location.
