Ko Olina Beach Park is a fantastic and safe lagoon, great for swimming and snorkeling in warm, calm water. It is an awesome, kids-friendly beach with plenty of room, access to bathrooms, and areas to rinse off. The sunset is absolutely unmatched. However, the parking lots are always full, often requiring a long wait, though public parking at the marina is an option for those okay with a longer walk. Shade is limited as tents and umbrellas are not allowed on the beach, and no BBQs or smoking are permitted. Visitors are encouraged to bring food and drinks and to help keep the beach clean. While some find the water not transparent for snorkeling and the area boring, it is widely seen as a wonderful place for families to relax and have fun.
