I brought my Dalmatian in just for a wash and nail trim and the lady told me I needed to upgrade to nail grinding for it to be smooth which is another 15$ which I’ve never had to do before but fine .. total came out to about 74$ and her nails are still super sharp . I’m so mad such a waste of money and time and to be pushed to adding an extra 15$ service to “be sure” it’s done right for it to still not be done right .. never again . And this is not the first bad experience I’ve had with petsmart grooming but it’ll definitely be my last

I have been a loyal customer of PetsmArt, grooming my dogs at petsmart since they were puppies, which makes the recent decline in customer service at this particular location especially disappointing.
I am writing to provide feedback on two separate incidents that highlight a need for improved staff training in customer service and professional etiquette.
First Incident: Unprofessional Check-in I had a scheduled 9:30 AM appointment and arrived at 9:15 AM to drop off my dog before heading to work. I was informed that I could not check in until precisely 9:30 AM. Despite having mentioned my need for an early drop-off during the scheduling call, the staff member, Triare, was unaccommodating. The groomer, Nadine, arrived late and did not acknowledge me or my dog while passing the check-in desk. During the check-in process, the groomer's demeanor was unwelcoming and confrontational, using aggressive hand gestures and a raised voice. When I requested a more specific pickup window, she repeatedly and emphatically stated that I would receive a call 15 minutes before completion and would be charged if I did not pick up the dogs within one hour. This interaction was very unpleasant and showed a significant lack of professionalism.
Second Incident: Unannounced Late Fee
On a separate occasion, I was contacted for an early pickup. I explained that I would be able to arrive after a certain time, and the staff member agreed. Upon my arrival, I was unexpectedly charged a late fee for both dogs. When I inquired about the charge, the groomer falsely claimed to have informed me of this fee over the phone. This practice of levying hidden fees and providing inaccurate information is a serious lapse in transparency and customer trust.
Based on these two highly uncomfortable instances, it is clear that the staff at this location lacks basic customer service skills and professional conduct. I hope this feedback can be used for training purposes to prevent other customers from having similar negative experiences.

This petsmart is on the smaller side but it's super clean and modern. Employees were a lil scarce but nice and helpful. The cat adoption area looks so cool

Consistently some of the best customer service. Their pick up service is super convenient and they have everything ready for you.
Love having this company and their awesome workers nearby.

This is my dog's favorite store. He knows he will get love and attention here. When we go to petco, we don't get nearly the same friendliness or passion for pets as we do here.

My dog was at petsmart groomer for 5 hours, I checked at the 4 hour mark was told within the hour. At the 5th I went in to check in in-person with her groomer Sam. I arrived to the dog who dropped off after me get picked up. She had only had a bath and her nails clipped. FIVE HOURS!! Her groomer Sam said he had not had a chance to cut her hair. I told him I'd like to take her as half the day had gone and worried she'd sit in a kennel for another hour. As he went to get her, 3 more people had come to get their Pups. He brought her out and set her on the counter. Blood dripped from her quick. I started crying that she'd been there for 5 hours, only had a bath and nails trimmed and now was bleeding on the counter. He said she wasn't actually bleeding as he checked her nails. I pointed to the blood on the white counter. This in all was a disaster.
Edit- after the failed grooming, I got a text that Sam canceled my appointment that just happened to erase it from his list of dogs he was assigned to groom for the day.
