In visiting the Kapolei location just before 9am, the time they open, I saw that the front door was ajar. Concerned, I leaned in to see if all was well and I was greeted with Aloha and asked to come inside. Surprised by this I walked in and began to have a seat but I was invited to sign in at the kiosk to get the next available appointment. I signed in and again tried to have a seat but I was interrupted and asked to have a seat at the barber chair. Namie introduced three things to me. Herself, A wonderful customer experience and a great looking haircut at her hands. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE AGAIN.
Do not delay any further. You deserve the best. Go to Sports Clips Haircuts today!!

Extremely disappointed with the service at Sports Clips Kapolei. The manager is insanely rude and dismissive! Better off taking your business elsewhere for far higher quality cuts, services, and treatment.

The rudest I've ever been treated at a business. I won a $50 gift certificate for the store, and I went to go get a haircut and gel product. I got the haircut ($32), and they told me that they couldn't give me the gel for the difference because the manager was out and had forgotten to activate the certificate. They told me they'd give me the haircut for free, which was nice/fair and so I tipped, and because my commute is 3 hours round trip to Kapolei another time (and it was the store's fault), they promised they'd still let me use the gift certificate in full for products. A week later, I called for confirmation, and the manager rudely told me that I was lying about them making that offer to me and that I could only redeem $18, when she hadn't even been there and three ladies working at the time had witnessed the interaction. It makes no sense that I would agree to bus another 3 hours due to someone else's error for only $18. I 100% confirmed that I would be able to redeem the full $50 and the lady who promised me knows it but will not admit it. The manager further falsely claimed that the gift certificate wasn't available for products like gel and had to be corrected by the assistant manager, showing how little she knew about the promises represented to me. The manager then cut me off and hung up on me. I go to the mainland for school this week and that was my last opportunity to redeem the certificate, which they have now failed to honor in multiple ways. Horrible treatment, no honoring promises, and false advertising. It's unreasonable for a customer to commute 6 hours round trip twice because of the manager's failure to activate a gift card that didn't specify it could only be redeemed for services. Shame!

Awesome service, Minka is the best, always ensuring that my hair is perfect. Not a hair out of place. Minka is friendly and always has a smile her face. Will stick with her like glue.

No complaints about the haircut, it was average. The price was steep for my liking being over $30 before tip. I'll try to find somewhere cheaper next time.

Went in for a high feed and spike top barber stylist seem to be brand new totally gave my haircut a crooked haircut. I'm ashamed to put a picture up on here because it's horrendous. Going to another barbershop tomorrow morning to have it fixed. I don't want to shame the stylist, but, very very horrible job.

The gentlemen cutting my sons hair was very nice. But it doesn't excuse the fact that he ruined the entire haircut. I'm sitting at barbers now getting it fixed!! Forced me to tip $7 bucks too. I'm going to file a chargeback for this shotty work. It took a total of 7 minutes as he was super rough with the clippers and claimed he was a "perfectionist." Mind you, as I was waiting for us next in line there was another little boy who just got done; and I noticed his hair was extremely uneven and choppy. It should have been my first red flag! I only came here because barbers was full. Never making this mistake ever again!! Do NOT go here friends!

Had been waiting a few minutes and ask the lady if I could use the restroom and she told me to go across the street to Jersey Mikes subs and use theirs. Needless to say i did not get my haircut and won’t come back to those location!!

Until today, I had nothing but good things to say about this place. I checked in online using their app like I normally do. The wait was about 50 minutes for my preferred stylist. With 15 minutes left to wait, I entered the establishment and checked in on their terminal. My stylist finished up with a customer and I received a text on my phone saying I was next up. As I sat waiting for my stylist, another gentleman checked in. I believe he had a 30 minute wait but told my stylist that he couldn't wait that long. To my surprise, the stylist had him take a seat at her station and when I looked at the waitlist, my wait time had gone from 0 to 38 minutes! How I was simply pushed back without a single word uttered to me is mind boggling. I walked out because I did not have the time (or patience) to wait at that point. I will NOT be returning.
