They are not first come first served basis. People that came in after me were seen before me. It was clear what was going on. They have a preference for what ppl they serving and it’s not for ppl that look like me. I was never seen their they just wasted 2 hours of my life.

This place is actually...TO GOOD TO BE TRUE!! Last year I came here for an emergency around morning time 10a.m. This urgent care just opened at 10a.m...I couldn't believe I didn't leave this place til 430p.m. bad constant stomach pains Believe it or not..im back again on the west side. By far the worst on the West side. The waiting area still sucks! They need more seating. People who are actually sick is standing outside. The guys in the front desk are not helpful at all! HPH Should hire more friendly and courteous workers who are more sincere or even have great customer service. Queens West Medical Center would be a better option or also queens empower health all in ewa/ewa beach. BETTER CHANCE OF GETTING HELP AND BEING SEEN BY A NURSE/DOVTOR ASAP. Feels like your slowly dying waiting sitting in the waiting area and you are here at urgent care for NO CARE AT ALL!!!!!!!AND MORE ROOM FOR SEATING ESPECIALLY BEING SICK WAITING IN THE URGENT CARE.

Waited 2,5 hour to see a physician when i already had my lab tests ready. They asked to run the tests again and they told me im next. Even 5 ppl who came after me were able to go in while me waiting with 3 kids and terible pain nobody gave a damn. The lady behind the desk said this is normal and if i didnt like it i was free to go somewhere else. Really? After 2,5 h waiting? Diskrimination and racism is real even in 2024. Shame.

Waited over an hour an a half , everyone seems great except for the doctor , I’ve been suffering with bad headache , painful . Regardless of peoples past history you shouldn’t judge them, I waited that long to be seen for one minute , reading my chart of what happened yesterday doesn’t mean it’s happening today at least give me a real evaluation , and I had Dr Susie Chun I hope she does treat everyone like that ,

This is an awesome urgent care. I have been to many in Hawaii and this one is by far the best! Whenever me or my family have an issue, this is our number one choice. Everything is so convenient. The staff at the front are so kind and They give you an estimate wait time wich is convenient. The nurses are so kind. Rochelle took very good care of me at my last visit. I give this clinic 5 stars because the customer service is top notch and the wait time is appropriate. Everything about this urgent care is convenient for me.

I went in on August 7, at 7:21pm and I was not able to see the attending physician. I was told by the receptionist that they are fully occupied and people are waiting to be seen. I asked where the patients and she told me that they are waiting outside.

I had a positive experience at Straub Medical Center. It was my first time using an urgent care facility. The receptionist was pleasant, and the staff was helpful and took the time to explain processes to me. Dr. Johnson was thorough, personable, and professional. I felt well cared for, and it lessened my fear of going to urgent care.

They had no idea what they were doing. Still getting bills a year later for labs and cultures because the clinicians couldn’t identify a rash. Thanks

Visiting my daughter for a week I had to go in for an existing condition. The process was smooth and everyone I encountered was helpful and friendly. I really didn’t wait too long either. The doctor was thorough and informative. I would really recommend this facility if you are visiting the islands and have a need to see a doctor.

Okay so we came here because hubby's back has been in pain since Saturday and it was to the point where he couldn't get up out of bed without being in pain. He checked in up front without an appointment and had to fill out paperwork. He had issues with his insurance before and had a hard time getting medications. This time he changed the location to the pharmacy inside Safeway at Kunia location. He managed to get his meds with a little hesitancy because the pharmacist had to verify some code which took a little while. Once that was done, he got his meds and we left. The ladies were really nice and he managed to get in an hour and 45 minutes later. Waiting seemed like an eternity but they help people in the order they come in. The wait was long but my hubby finally got to see a doctor. She took her time asking hubby questions about his pain. I definitely liked how the doctor asked questions to make sure he didn't break any bones. I honestly don't understand why there's always an issue with the medicine. Then hubby goes to his job and apparently doesn't want him going to the urgent care under Straub. His job covers under somewhere else. Just so frustrating dealing with the insurance.

I came to this urgent care around 7:15pm and they turned me down and told me they were at max capacity which is fine I can understand that but at least let people know when they call in advance like I did...not too big of an issue. I came the following morning prior to opening and they had people wait outside and handed us clipboards in order of who arrived first. They allowed us into the office shortly after that. I was called in shortly after around 10:15am. The nurse JEAN is absolutely amazing. She made me feel so comfortable and I am so thankful she was working today because she is THE SWEETEST. However if she wasn't working my experience at straub would've been 1 star or 0 if possible. My issue is with the doctor I saw. She came in introduced herself rambled on and tried to leave. Didn't care to ask me what happened, what's going on... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. LITERALLY SQUEEZED MY WOUND!!!! She told me okay the nurse will be in to clean your wound and give you a tetanus booster. I wanna say she was in the room with me for a max of 1 minute and said it was a pleasure to meet you and was about to leave!!! I asked her is anyone going to take me to X-rays and she told me oh I'm so sorry I totally forgot. And walked out. Didn't see her until after where she just popped her head in, didn't even enter the room and told me X-rays are negative I suggest you call your PCP today and schedule an appointment for today so they can refer you to a specialist. I just felt completely ignored and not cared for properly. I understand it's an urgent care and it's busy but you can in the least have a 5 minute conversation with your patient about what's going on. Will not be returning here.

Came to this facility since one of my doctors suggested I take a flu test due to my symptoms. The reason for 3 stars is because of the wait time from check in to being seen was 1-1/2 hours. When you're not feeling well, that seems like eternity and I just wanted to go home and sleep. However, staff was very friendly and professional from the front desk to the nurse and doctor that I saw. They decided to run both a flu and covid test just in case - both negative thank goodness.I am happy that there is this urgent care facility located in Ka Makana Ali'i. The lobby is very spacious and beautiful with lots of seating. There is a Clinical labs so blood work can be done there. Also, there are other doctors there besides urgent care - from PCP to Pulmonology.

Top notch staff, nurses and doctors and care! 10 stars! We had a medical emergency including surgery while on vacation and ended up here. Fast, kind, competent service. We feel so lucky! Go here if need be! I want to come back from my home state for primary care!
