If Shipman wants to leave a legacy, they'll have to do better than just donate land for a small park... how about more parks, bigger parks, or selling some land for cheap in Hilo to Costco?! ?Besides that, it's a decent park! It has bathrooms that could use some work, b-ball courts, tennis courts, soccer field, but no skate park! There needs to be a skate park! ?

Great park for all ages! Play area for Kieki, lighted basketball and tennis courts. Nice walk around perimeter of park too! Great picnic area too!

This is a meticulously maintained local park that is clean and safe and popular with families. It has a nicely paved 0.5 mile walking path around the basketball, soccer, and tennis areas.

Huge park! No swings but it has all the other amenities! Soccer fields, basketball court, ping pong, tennis courts, and a baseball diamond. It has a small pavillion and public restrooms. This is one of our preferred playgrounds for my 2 and 3 year olds!

Basketball courts, Tennis courts, walking trail, and children play area. Great family fun. Just be prepared it does rain quite often in Kea'au.

We always come here after school because my oldest can play basketball, my youngest can play on the playground and I can do laps. Everybody wins.
