We have had steady service for the last year at a reasonable price. Just got our renewal...$371 for 6 months...more than double. We are finding a new service. These prices are outrageous compared to their competitors.

Ive been with this company since 2016. Customer service is always great, super friendly. Most of the staff know me by name. The wait is less than USPS. Paying for a private box allowed a lot more shipping options than USPS ( many companies wont deliver to a PO box). You can sign up for email notifications when packages come in ( which is always prompt). Highly recommended!!

Almost $800/yr for a mailbox, and DOUBLE THAT for the 1st year?!? These people should be shut down for price gouging. When I called to inquire about getting a box, I was told there was a waiting list but I could pay an extra $375 to "skip the line" - they admitted this is illegal but offered it nonetheless. Seriously, don't waste your time - just get on the USPS waiting list for a PO Box.

I was with these guys for 8 years. I watched it go from excellent to steadily making a turn for the worst. Btw, any 5 star review that you read with the names Kristen or Jackie, they've been long gone for at least 5 years now. So the good service they use to offer has ceased since then. In April of this year, they doubled their prices! And they didn't even give us a courtesy notice to let us know. I found out the prices were going up with 2 weeks notice by being sent a due payment invoice. For 1 month, the price went from $32.25 to $62.75! That is ridiculous and unreasonable! Especially for a business that is extremely unprofessional. Last year they lost 2 of my packages. They didn't apologize or take any sort of responsibility. These people do not care! So when I saw they were doubling their prices, I left right away. Thank god I did! I'm now at Aloha Mail and pay $34 a month and their service is like night and day in comparison to these guys. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy. So happy to finally be free of them!

Been a customer here for 5 years. Great employees and good service at a reasonable price of approx $23 a month.Then came Xmas of 2022 and the new manager emploded. Long lines. Lost packages, blank stares and excuses.Then in March a new manager, things turned on a dime. Great customer service and best place to do business with.Ok just got my renewal notice.....$62 a month to sort my mail. $ 372 every 6 months!!!!! A 150% increase in fees? NotI'm out. Notified all my carriers of my new mailing address today. Turning my keys to local local tomorrow.

Lots of new improvements since their issues at Christmas. Haven't had to wait once to pickup packages. Much improved and would recommend.

Ive been with this company since they worked out of where Subway is now. They werent called Local Local then. Mailbox was only $20 and the people who ran it were pretty on it.Over the years its been good and bad but nothing like it is now and i understand prices have gone up everywhere but $62 for a teeny box and one month service is going way above the norm. Its bad enough they have been changing employees everytime i turn around and i feel for these guys cause learning at a fast pace aint easy. But i agree with a few of these reviews that i have waited days for important mail and they say its not there, when it actually is and has been.Im really bummed about the price hike and even the cost of a stamp and after so many years of being their customer im going to have to bail. Cant afford them and wish it didnt turn out the way its been going. I miss the old employees that were solid.

If you're looking for a reliable mail service in the community, I'd advise you to steer clear of Local Local mail. The quality of their service has deteriorated significantly, and they've become increasingly untrustworthy.Recently, they've lost some of my packages and delivered others to the wrong address. When I complained, they refused to take any responsibility for their mistakes. Additionally, I've consistently received other people's mail, which is concerning as I'm unsure whether these individuals are honest and would return mistakenly delivered mail.To make matters worse, the new owners of Local Local mail are planning to increase their rental fees, despite providing terrible service. I would strongly advise against using their services as it seems like they're only interested in taking your money without delivering the quality service you deserve.

This place has had a rough few years. The last 6 months have been the worst of it with long lines, hours of operation constantly changing, mail taking 5-7 days to check in after it is delivered, misplacing packages, employees not knowing what to do and seeming confused all the time.BUT, the last few weeks things have improved and I have never had to wait in line to pickup, packages are scanned and checked out to me quickly, the inside looks very organized (even a fresh paint / makeover). HOWEVER, they have raised prices drastically. The reasoning for this is to pay employees a living wage, which I completely agree with. However, I would like to see a better track record for an extended period of time before being willing to pay another $300/year above what I paid last year for a small box. Might be looking into switching for that reason.

I've been with this company for a few years. I haven't had any issues with the workers just some of the customers. What people aren't understanding is this is a PRIVATE mail and ship business, they are NOT USPS. The holiday season is the worst. A lot of impatient, rude and obnoxious customers. The people that work there really try their hardest to help the customers as much as possible. As I said to one customer, if you don't like it, then leave. You're not obligated to have mail service with Local. USPS is right down the road and they have the same issues as well.

Let's update this again... I got a notification that a package has been delivered and is ready for pickup. When I stop in, they tell me it's not ready. I show them the notification that my package is available and I ask when it will be ready. The response I get from the kid behind the counter, "Who knows..." This is the last straw. I will be canceling my box and moving to Aloha Mail in Pāhoa.Another update, and an even lower star rating... If your hours are posted to be open until 4:30pm, I expect your doors to be open at 4:10pm!! I didn't take time out of my day, spending money and effort that I am sorely short on, to drive 30 miles to find the place closed!Come on owners, get it right or my next comment about this will be to the BBB.I had to update my review because things have really changed with regard to the level of service here. There is a complete apparent lack of urgency and organization, and whoever is in charge seems more focused on replacing people rather than focusing on efficiency and training. There is absolutely no conceivable reason why the line I am waiting in hasn't moved for nearly half an hour. Unfortunately, USPS doesn't have available boxes and their level of service is just as bad. The most disappointing part is that Local Local used to be better and more efficient, but for whatever reason, the staff and efficient systems were replaced without any explanation or justification.

This place quickly went from a 5 star establishment to a 1 star establishment. Packages are missing or aren’t checked in for days/weeks, lines wrap around the building, I don’t know what happened, but this place went from running smooth to being a train wreck overnight.Past 5 star review:I've had a mailbox here for 5 years. I absolutely love this place, hardly ever any lines, they've never lost a package, employees are on top of any issues. I highly recommend this over a PO Box. I smile every time I drive by the post office and the line is around the building.

Habitually lose packages or misplace them for weeks. I get tracking confirmation my package was delivered but local local says it wasn't. They say I should contact sender and ask sender for a refund and other solutions that don't hold them at all accountable when they are the ones losing and misplacing things. There are numerous facebook posts about them losing other people's things also. I got my Christmas presents 2 weeks late (even though they were sent early) and had to explain to relatives I'm sorry I didn't get it which caused stress not only for me but family too. Now my cats medicine is missing even though packages sent later have arrived. It is a continuous problem. At least a few times every month they lose my mail. I have 2 bank cards and a check missing also
