I haven't had any issues with any of the women at the front desk, but everytime I get one of the men at the front, I have a bad experience. Today I went in and there wasn't anyone behind me in line. I misunderstood the workers question and he got impatient and really rude. I told him the address that I put on Amazon, but mentioned I also have a PO box(we are still dealing with the transition of the new boxes) At this point a few people had come and gotten in line (there was another worker helping at another counter) he got super annoyed and mad that I answered his question wrong and I apologized for misunderstanding the question and told him I was looking for my package with a yoga mat in it and he asked what address or the po box and I said the address that I put in Amazon and he asked what the po box was so I told him and then he got mad again and asked which one I sent it to. I said it should be the address, but I'm trying to double check cause he said he couldn't find it. He snapped at me to just let him know when I figured it out and shouted to have the next person in line come up. I got out of line. Got back in line and luckily had Auntie this time. I told her the last name and she immediately found it. I thanked her for always being so patient and kind and then we went on our way. I don't know why the men are so rude and impatient everytime. Normally I just brush it off, but this has been a consistent problem for at least a year. I know it is frustrating for the workers to deal with all the changes, which is a big reason I usually just brush it off, but enough with the lack of customer service already

This place is terrible. I would give it 0 stars if that was an option. Disorganized and workers are rude, don’t care about their jobs. Go anywhere else other than here

Good luck trying to use this post office if you have a regular job. They are only open from 8-4, a wait list for a P.O. Box, and they don’t deliver. I’ve had numerous important letter get mailed back to sender because I can’t get in to get them. They are rude, the hours are horrible, and even if you’re in line they will close the doors on you. They are slow, often just small talk with everyone that comes in and only 1 person at the counter. It’s ridiculous. No organization. No way to call. What a joke of a government program.

Routinely a bad experience, whether it's due to the long line or just a lack of service. Have had multiple packages sent back so far that have been sitting in the post office yet they are never able to find them even when I stop multiple times a week to ensure they dont get returned to sender...

Waited for my packages for a month just to be returned back 2 hrs after it was delivered to Keaau post office. Is this how u treat ur paying customers! I came the same day and told me they dont hold packages! What is ur policy? Attention to ur manager! A little consideration is very much appreciated! We r always at ur mercy, please just be fair!

Post office takes long the lady with the bun doesn’t give you your package if you don't have the yellow slip even when it says package arrived there and has the tracking number. She is just lazy to look for it and the post office that day was empty. Told me to come back another day.

FYI all HPP residents- FREE: if you are paying for a Post Office Box, you're on a waiting list for a Box in HPP (or not) then your Keaau PO Box should be free of charge. ASK as they won't tell you this info otherwise. Good luck.
