I don't know if it's the cheapest, but I stopped by on the way and bought some food. I was tired of all the salty food in Hawaii, but the salad here had no seasoning and the musubi wasn't salty, so I enjoyed it.

Rosie kinda rude, charged twice for 1 takuan and not at the sale price so what should've been 3 dollars was 12. Our fault for not checking but this is crazy a mess up this huge for scanning items. Reconsider employment for her.

Small grocery store, but it had plenty to choose from. It's not overly priced and very clean with great service.

DAY 5 of Vacation - This local market was located down the street from a restaurant we just dined at. We needed more hygiene products and travel items.
Parking: They have a small parking lot. Very easy to find. Free parking.
This was a large market. It had everything a grocery store provided, but products were a bit more expensive than usual. I walked around and noticed there were fresh fruits in their grocery section. They also had fun snacks in the freezer section. We found everything we needed to restock for the rest of our trip.

Shopping for groceries on vacation on the big island is a challenge but KTA provided what we wanted, including a selection of Hawaiian made and local products which we couldn't find at Choice Mart. Best of all, their desserts are FIRE ???
