“Cool family owned candy shop with great owners and staff. The only place I could find candied coconut from Hana! I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for something similar.”
“Their Rock Salt Plums with and without seeds are the bomb!! Four simple ingredients - plums, sugar, salt, licorice. YUMMY! I like having the choice when purchasing items that may contain phenylalanine or aspartame. This brand was the only I could find that gave me the option to buy items without any chemicals. I bought these items in Kauai, but I will certainly buy from their online store!”
“If you are looking for a perfect card to give to someone, this is the place to find it. The store features beautiful cards made by a local artist, and there are so many to choose from. The store sells gift wrap, ribbons and stickers to create a lovely gift, and they also have candy making supplies and chocolate molds to make an impressive Valentine's Day present. I was so glad I found this store. I like supporting local small businesses and local artists, and the owner is very helpful.”
“Yowza! Are you into crack seeds? This place has been in business in the same spot in QKC from the 80's. Only in Hawaii will you find these snacks or even understand what they are. Tons and tons of different snacks. If you can think of it, they probably have it. They also sell Icee brand slushes. I personally love their plum hard candies and tamarind candy.”
“I just happen to be in the Kīhei area for work and decided to explore the area. After visiting a handful of shops, I accidentally found myself at the entrance of one of the wonders of Kīhei. As I stumbled through the doors, I was met with a sight that only comes maybe a couple times throughout a lifetime. I gazed upon shelves full of sauces. I had no idea where to even begin. Fortunately, the helpful and personable owner was present. She had made a promise through a series of samples that I would find something I like, and she delivered each time. The first sauce I made an attempt at was a sweet and spicy sauce. I was definitely caught off guard by what happened next. As the sample graced my taste buds, I was transported into a dimension of flavor and wonder. It was an experience that doesn’t come too often. Almost immediately, the bar had broken through the ceiling for the remaining samples. Then it happened. Banana peanut butter. That is all I can say. I thought the madness was over. However, this fine establishment felt otherwise. I had the opportunity to taste a guava butter. If you had told me 3 days ago that I would try a guava butter, I more than likely would be ecstatic. I had never imagined the two coming together for a common cause. The only words to express my thoughts on this guava butter, is that I would indeed travel a third of the way across the Earth for this. If you are seeking joy, satisfaction, and relief, it can be found within this store. I truly believe that if you can’t find something that you like, you must not have opened the doors and gone inside. If you ever find yourself in Maui, add Tutu’s Pantry to your list.”
