Was introduced to this place via Dallas, TX. My daughter and I fell in love with the fish tacos and cold beer. We were so disappointed when they closed that location... fast forward to today. I traveled all the way from Tennessee and was rewarded when I found the Maui location!

We got the coconut shrimp and chips and seafood pasta. The food was average at best. It was WAY overpriced for what we were paying ($40+). The fries were not fresh; no flavor, not crisp. The pasta seemed like something you get from a cafeteria, not the best quality. We've had much better meals for similar prices. We were disappointed.

Look at the menu online before you get here!!! At this cafe you walk up and order first thing, and they bring it to your table. I recommend coming before 6:30 because it gets crowded. The food here was awesome. I got the coconut shrimp and it was really good. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. Definitely a must do!

I LOVED coconuts! Fish and chicken and teriyaki poke were delicious. Very filling. A little expensive but very worth it! Great friendly staff!

Grab some napkins and forks before you start digging into the tacos (as recommended by the waitress). Both the fish and steak tacos were good - the fish and steak are well seasoned even when you eat it on its own. The mango salsa is refreshing and sweet with a little kick. I have a small appetite but having just the tacos left me hungry so we ordered the coconut shrimp as well. The shrimp was good but I prefer coconut shrimp with a little more sweetness and coconut flavor. Overall a nice quick stop.

Reasonable price (it's Hawaii, so...). The tables are nicely arranged. Ambiance makes you crave fish. The service is good and the food tasted good. You can decide what type of seasoning you want on the fish -so pick something that you like. Otherwise, a good fish dish may not fit your palate.

Famous for their fish tacos. Their tacos were very impressive. They use two different fishes to make the fish filling inside. They then top it up with cabbage, mango salsa, a creamy sauce. The portions are massive as the taco used a total of 17 ingredients, according to the staff, so the taco comes in a double tortilla. Skip the napkins. They won't do much for you. Just wash your hands after the meal.

Stopped by based on the reviews. I was not a fan of the food. Nothing wrong, just personally didn't like it. I had the Calamari & Chips. Hubs had the Kahlua pork plate and he liked it. Staff was friendly. Place is clean

The fish tacos and coconut shrimp are really good. The Thai doing saucer that come with the shrimp is awesome. They are a little on the pricey side, but I'd say you're getting what you pay for in this case. The service was pretty good here as well. The atmosphere is very nice. The tables are made to look like surf boards.

Popular dining spot for about $15.00 for lunch. Located on second floor. Counter service with delivery to table. Fish tacos are popular as are fish and chips. Generally a meal costs as indicated above. Clean and well managed.

The worst service and food my family has ever had at any Denny's. There were only 4 tables on the go and it took 10 min to have a waitress even show up. My daughter ordered eggs and toast the toast on top was burnt the ones on the bottom were pure white, how do you mess up toast. Stay away too many other good restaurants to waste your time with this one.

Not impressed at all. Came here the first morning we were in town and will definitely not be going back. Service was very slow for them not being busy at all (maybe 7 total tables full). Food was also a disappointment. Ordered eggs, bacon, and sausage. The eggs weren't bad, but the sausage was very spongy and the bacon looked downright nasty. My wife's pancakes, on the other hand, were quite good.

WE VISIT KIHEI AT LEAST 3 0R 4 TIMES A YEAR AND HAVE EATEN A LOT AT DENNY'S...USUALLY BREAKFAST AND DINNERS. WE WERE THERE LAST MAY 16 TO 28 AND WERE EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED IN THE LACK OF SERVICE...IT WAS OBVIOUS THERE WERE NOT ENOUGHT STAFF, IN FACT THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING MORE AND MORE LATELY. THEY WERE SO RUN OFF THEIR FEET THEY GOT OUR ORDERS WRONG AND NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE TO SEAT PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK...PEOPLE WERE LEAVING AND COMPLAINING AS THEY WENT.....PLEASE HIRE EXTRA PEOPLE...THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING FOR SOMEONE TO DO AT A BUSY RESTAURANT... IT WOULD BE A SHAME FOR THIS DENNYS TO CLOSE DOWN....THANK YOU
