I highly recommend Maui Mini Go. I was visiting Maui for the first time, and did not realize that to better experience the island I would need a car. After checking the usual rental places, and having the hotel staff call a local place, I found Maui Mini Go via a search and gave them a call. David was immediately helpful, and had a car ready to go. He was forthright about an issue with the remote for the doors, and confirmed I still wanted the car. He brought the car to me, and when I returned it he provided me transport to the airport. I had a fantastic experience with Maui Mini Go, and they will be my go to when I visit in the future. If you are at all interested in cars, this is the only place that you should consider renting from on Maui!Everything about Maui Mini Go is perfect. The cars are all curated, they are all special enthusiast versions. I rented an amazing Z4M convertible - I couldn't imagine a better car to explore the island on. It was basically the same price as renting a boring base model mustang convertible from one of the usual rental outfits (if you haven't been to Hawaii before, it is littered with tourists in Mustangs and Jeeps - and they all stick out as tourists like a sore thumb). Driving the M up to the top of the Volcano at night was the most amazing driving experience that I've ever had (and I've driven many impressive cars on cool roads before)!The service that Dave (and his associate Luigi) provide is world class. They truly understand how to cater to and take care of their clients. They even let me swap out my car for a day for their little Fiat 500 Abarth for doing the road to Hana (it was the perfect car for doing that drive and the boys made it convenient to swap out the Beamer for it).I never bother to write reviews for companies, but Maui Mini Go left such a positive impression on me that I felt it was warranted. You will not be disappointed.

This was the best car! Cute and new. Perfect for me and my daughter and our large and small suitcases. In Maui for Christmas. We drove everywhere, in the storm and all and always felt safe.So glad we went with Turo! I thought the car was going to be at the airport waiting for us but David picked us up and took us to his warehouse (trust me I was a tad concerned LOL) but David was great! He was so chill and laid back yet professional, very informative and personable and also available on the phone when we had questions about the car.We will definitely be renting his cars again when we come back. Mahalo David!

I rented David's GTI, Cooper S, JCW, and briefly tried his classic Mini. It was an absolute blast to drive up and down Haleakala, out to Ulupalakua with his cars. David is an extraordinary host: we were picked up and dropped off from the airport, and once when we ran over a huge stone, David took care of us, coming out at midnight to hook us up with another car! Can't recommend him or his cars any more highly. Additionally, his coffee is as good as his cars.

Booking was easy, there's a variety of fun cars to choose from and he'll pick you up and drop off at the airport. He's got a lot of local insight and will answer any questions you have. David is an amazing host and all his cars are in absolute perfect conditions. He helped us with everything we needed and he prepares the best coffee in Hawaii. The car is perfect for couples than want to visit the island. It doesn’t use too much gas as is very light and is very comfortable for driving on narrow roads in the mountains. Very very recommended!!!

David was such a great host and the car was AMAZING. I honestly never thought I could have such a great experience with a car rental, but David really goes the "extra mile" to make your time in Maui special. He picked us up from the airport promptly, had good tips for the best things to do (and not to do), and he was available throughout our trip for questions.The car was SO fun to drive, and let me tell you, if you are exploring Maui you will be driving a lot, so do yourself a favor and rent a fun one. We felt incredibly cool hugging the curves up Haleakala with 300+ horsepower, the sun roof open, and the beats pumping. Next time we are on Maui, we will definitely be calling David again!

Maui mini go is an AMAZING service! David has an awesome business, and he has gained life long customers. My wife and I visited Maui in early March, and we rented the BMW Z4 roadster. This car was so much fun to drive around the island. The convertible was such a pleasure. We purposefully made sure to take a nice daily drive with the top down.Maui mini go is a great business, and David makes the entire experience a true pleasure. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, gave us samples of delicious coffee, and was extremely thorough explaining the car. In addition, he’s a great resource of everything Maui! We cannot wait to go back and use his car rental service again!Word to the wise: DO NOT google maps Maui Mini Go. You will end up in a neighborhood. Use the address on the website!

Forget about Enterprise, Hertz and all those other car rental companies! Dave is the man to go to when you want to a rent a car on Maui! Dave is extremely passionate, knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. They carry a variety of cool cars from Mini Coopers to Fiats, BMWs to Porsches. I've rented from Maui Mini Go twice now and have had nothing but a positive experience.

Another 5 star review for Dave and Maui Mini Go. We originally lined up a Hyundai on Turo, but when that cancelled last minute we stumbled on Maui Mini Go. So glad we decided to rent with him! We ended up in one of his cute Minis and had a blast driving it around the island. He was easy to get in touch with, knowledgeable, and just a genuinely good guy. This was the perfect car for Maui, easy to park anywhere, we could put the top down when sunny, and it was a nice change from the HUNDREDS of cookie cutter jeeps and mustangs you'll see on the road. Even our hotel valet recognized the car and said "I think this is the only one on the island". Quit searching, this is the place to rent your car from.

We rented from Maui Mini Go and we were not disappointed. If we ever make our way back to Maui we will be renting from David again without a doubt and recommending him to any friends or family we know of planning to visit Maui!David was super quick to respond to my booking, any questions, and even when we asked to extend our rental. Not only was he timely with his responses, he was super personable and gave us plenty of tips and information for our stay.Getting the car was painless! I know major rental companies can be a pain sometimes, but this was a great experience and return was even easier.If you are looking for a rental on Maui, go with Maui Mini Go! Plus if you rent one of the mini’s it is so convenient to get around and parking is a breeze!

I recommend Maui Mini Go more than I think I've ever recommended anything else. We rented David's white Mini Cooper S convertible for a week in Maui and it was an awesome experience. Making the reservation was easy, a phone call and a couple of texts. He offered a rate competitive with any of the agencies for a vastly superior car. The car was clean, well-maintained, and he has a garage of other sweet rides. After picking us up from the airport, David spent probably an hour talking with us about the best things to do on the island and how to travel pono. That effort and care is what really set this experience apart from the normal rental car experience and why I highly recommend you rent from Maui Mini Go. A Mini was perfect for the tight roads, and a ton of fun up and down the road to Haleakala. I'll be telling all my friends about renting here and if I ever return, this will be the first reservation I make! (maybe I'll even try the Lotus next time)
