We had an incredibly wonderful time at this B&B. The check in process is very simple, with our rooms being ready in advance. The way the space is laid out is quite clever, and we were able to wash off the sand from the day as we entered through the bathroom/mud room. Our suite had A/C and fans, and breakfast was conveniently provided in-suite and available in the fridge whenever we were ready. This came in so handy as we were staying just one night before a trip up the hill to watch the sun rise at Haleakala.. I don't know any other B&B that could've fed us at 3am!
Every convenience was prepared with USB charger ports, small kitchenette, beach chairs and umbrellas available, a cute shared back patio, internet, TV, and parking. This place knows how to host!
I'll be returning and recommending this B&B to all my friends when they visit Maui. Mahalos!

Incredible B&B! First, the room was excellent. Very large, great bathroom, and every amenity available. Easy to follow check-in procedures and we were greeted with a wonderful tray of goodies. Water, fruit and more were already in the fridge waiting for us. Plus, well thought-out items such as sunscreen, towels, and more. Plenty of air conditioning and fans made for comfortable nights. Our room also had a nice private outdoor sitting area!
As for the hosts, Eva was amazing. Not only super responsive and helpful with questions, but also just a wonderful person with which to hang out and chat over morning coffee!
This was an amazing find – a much better option than even upscale hotels, and at a fraction of the cost. Great location as well.

This bed and breakfast is absolutely beautiful. The inner garden alone is a gem, perfect for relaxing and reading a book while listening to the peaceful sounds of birds and breeze. Great location very close to the beaches and to downtown Kihei. A lot of extra free amenities like beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, also available washer and dryer. Good assortment of breakfast. Eva is a fantastic guest and she went above and beyond to help us in anything and gave us great advice for our stay. Bonus a super cute bunch of dogs and puppies! We will come back!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay!
My fiancée and I stayed at Maui What a Wonderful World B&B for five nights, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The owners were incredibly welcoming, kind, and accommodating—they truly made us feel at home. We stayed in one of the suites, which was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed and more. One of our favorite parts of each day was waking up and enjoying our morning coffee on the lanai—it was the perfect, peaceful start to every morning. The location is ideal: quiet, safe, and just a short drive to the beach and great local spots. The entire property is clean, cozy, and full of the aloha spirit. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Maui. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to come back

I love, love, love this b and b. The Mango Suite is large and well-appointed. Eva is awesome (and she has the cutest dogs ever). My daughter and I stayed for about 6 days and had a blast. The location is ideal- this was my first time to Maui, but it seems like it takes at least 30 minutes to get anywhere (Kapalua, Paia, etc.) which is fine because I was not in a rush😆 Kam beaches (we liked Kam 1), and the Maui Garden food trucks are close. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards…and more. Two big thumbs up!!!

Eva and Jim are the best! If you're looking for a great place to stay in Maui, I recommend What a Wonderful World bed and breakfast. During our visit to Maui, Eva went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a true 'ohana experience. I highly recommend.

Excellent experience, great deal, beautiful spacious suite with comfortable bed, Eva the host was friendly and helpful, served a lovely breakfast, and gave excellent advice about where to go in Maui. It's located on a quiet street within walking distance of beautiful beaches. Would visit again, just as guests we spoke with who re-visit year after year.

This was a great home base for our Maui visit. The property is located 30 minutes from the airport in a quiet residential neighborhood. Beaches, restaurants and shops are nearby, and all areas of the island are an easy, scenic drive from the B&B.
Our spacious suite was clean and pleasant with a Queen bed, well-stocked kitchenette, large bathroom and walk-in closet. The fridge was kept well stocked with freshly cut fruit, juice and other beverages. Coffee supplies were available for the Keurig coffee maker, and a basket of breakfast and snack items kept us well fed.
Sliding glass doors opened onto a lush courtyard enclosed by native trees and plants, a delightful retreat for morning coffee or an afternoon break. The courtyard provided access to the complementary washer & dryer as well as beach supplies including beach mats and chairs, cooler, umbrellas, beach towels, and snorkel gear.
The lanai on the second level, with its ocean view, was our favorite place to join our hosts, Eva & Jim, for morning coffee. We often headed up there in the evening with a bottle of wine that we'd picked up during the day, a delightful place to relax as we watched the sun set.
Eva & Jim are friendly, gracious and thoughtful hosts, happy to offer local perspectives on things to do and places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations, and look forward to our next visit.
The island continues to recover from the devastating fire in 2023. We encourage you to come and infuse as much money as possible in the local economy. Rent a car from locally owned Kehei Rent-A-Car, which offers shuttle service to/from the airport. Shop in locally owned stores, eat at food trucks or family owned restaurants, visit the places that support Hawaiin culture. Eva is a wealth of information, offering suggestions that led us to memorable experiences and fabulous food. We felt the aloha spirit everywhere we went, and will be back soon!

We are so glad we found this place for our week long stay on Maui. Eva has been doing this hosting thing for 20+ years, and it shows! She has added so many little touches to the rooms and common spaces that improve the experience and boost it well above a resort or hotel. She had great recommendations and connections. She provides ample breakfast options and snacks, beach gear, kitchen stuff, and so much more. She was always available and responsive, but still laid back. Her place isn’t right on the beach, but it’s super walkable to many beach parks and restaurants. We took our morning coffee from the deck everyday, greeted by her just-waking up and super cute dogs. We watched sunset from the beaches around her place. Access to the Makena area and all it offers was really convenient. We drove to Hana, Haleakalā, Lahaina, and Waihee Ridge all from her place. It gives you great access to the whole island. She also upgraded us to a bigger room without us asking, which just topped off a wonderful stay. Plus, the price is super affordable for the island. I would choose this place over any high-end resort.

This BnB served up exactly what my husband and I were looking for in our affordable trip to Maui. We were on the go exploring the island with plenty of beach time thrown in. It’s situated in a quiet neighborhood and gave us a feeling of privacy in a room that opened onto a lush garden courtyard. We had a kurig in our room, but coffee was also served on the upper lanai giving us sweeping views of the ocean. Eva and Jim stocked our fridge with everything we needed for a quick bite in the morning before taking off to our snorkeling tour or taking off at 5:00 in the morning to Haleakala to see the sun rise through the clouds at 10,000 feet. We also used their boogie boards, beach chairs and towels. Thank you Eva and Jim for being such warm and accommodating hosts. We’ll see you next year!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at What a Wonderful World Bed and Breakfast! The apartment was spacious, with a spotless bathroom, kitchen, AC in the bedroom, and access to a shared patio and balcony—perfect for relaxing. The owners were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, even stocking the fridge with snacks and breakfast foods when we arrived, which was such a pleasant touch. Having a washing machine available was super convenient too. We felt so well taken care of and had a truly lovely experience. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Maui. What a wonderful bed and breakfast! Our host, Eva, was great. The place matched as what was advertised and love the convenience of being near a lot of restaurants and the beach and only 30 minutes from the airport. Would definitely be coming back!!

Clean and cozy bed and breakfast. The rooms are also equipped with a small kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, microwave and refrigerator. The landlady Eva is a very nice and helpful woman. Our room had a terrace where you could sit outside and have breakfast. The only negative point is that the many dogs are cute, but you have to be careful when they run into your room, it can happen that their little leg is lifted somewhere
