“Clinical Lab's Pakana location was always a mystery to me until recently. Where in the world is it, I wondered? Turns out, "Pakana" is the name of the street which is just off of Waiko Road in Waikapu, and is near to our home.
Parking is adequate in their private lot or on-street as the area isn't fully developed. There are more staff working here than at their Kahului clinic on Hana Highway, so service has been a lot quicker, and online appointments more widely available. Reception and phlebotomists have been welcoming and professional.
Lab results are quick, viewable online on the next business day.
The only hiccup I’ve encountered are bills received that show no insurance application, forcing me to call in to relay the info regardless of reception making photo copies of my insurance card before going in. Other than that, it’s been smooth sailing.

Office is clean & environment is enforced by Covid-19 guidelines. We were in and out of there with no waiting around. ?”

“This CL is located on the 2nd floor of the Maui Medical Group building. I went in to the night clinic so when I needed lab work done, there was only me, myself, and I there so intake was quick. The tech did a great job at drawing blood, poking me just once like how it should be.
My blood work results were ready in less than 30 minutes which made my visit even smoother. I have absolutely nothing to complain about here!”
“This location in the One Hana Highway building (same parking lot as Mercedes Benz) and conveniently located in the same building as Maui Medical Group's Kahului location. Parking is free and plentiful with easy access to major roads.
There's a small waiting area and a few private rooms where they draw blood.
I checked in and was taken back in about 5 minutes. Mind you I did my labs at 10am, long after the rush of early morning donors.

“This was a great experience! The receptionist was very nice and it was the best stick and draw I have ever had. I am not easy and usually it ends up being from the hand. She got it on the arm, I didn’t feel the stick and I never got a bruise. This is the first time this has ever happened. I definitely r commend this location.”
“I was in twice this week. Past 3 yrs i get all my lab work done here. Every single time i go the gals in here are always very nice. The ones that take blood or give shots are so cheerful. They seem to be nice no matter when i go.”

“Had a good experience at Clinical Labs in Kihei/Wailea getting a PCR test for travel to Australia. Booking online was easy, and test result was back in 24 hours (promised in under 48 hours). Very little wait for the paperwork, payment and swabbing (about 15 minutes). The cost was reasonable (120$). Parking was easy. I would definitely recommend this clinic for PCR testing.”
