Base on my experience on this shop I payed $100 something just to get my cellphone fixed and he told me to comeback in another day, because i was late. I trusted him with my phone i called and he told me that his still fixing my phone. After days he said that his waiting for an equipment but i called and he said that i will need to pay more just to get it fixed again. And i told him if i can just grab the phone, but when i pick it up the phone looks like he never tried to fix it. I wouldnt say i wasted money but i believe him that he was gonna fix it, because he said it was easier.

My wife's iPhone 11's battery was bulging, and the Apple authorized repair place said they would have to replace the whole unit for about $500-600. A quick call to MrCellular resulted in a quote of $100 and said it would only take 10-15 minutes. True to his word, 10 minutes later I walked out with a working phone that didn't look like it was about to burst open. Thanks, Cory!

iPhone needed immediate repairs and a new glass screen. Found MrCellular on Yelp and went right there. They're located on the ground floor of a large residential condo complex with their store front and their front door on the side of the condo building facing South Kihei Road. You park in their lot in the middle of their condo building and walk through the passageway out to their walkway in front of the sidewalk. Kind of a strange building design set up, but it really makes sense once you look around because otherwise, there would be no obvious residential use for the ground floor of the side of the condo building facing the very busy South Kihei Road with no street parking. I suspect there are residents who live above where they work here - a work/live set up.Anyway, we explained our problem and he gave us an estimate and told us to come back in 40 minutes. We came back in 40 minutes and the iPhone was fixed as promised and we paid our bill and left satisfied. Thanks MrCellular!

This man couldn't stop saying, 'It's going to be very expensive' to me over and over again. He said that like 5 times then finally answered and said $315 to replace my cell phone screen. His prices are ridiculous!I passed on it! I had other companies quote me much less than this. This guy is a RIP off

TL;DR: Cory is a decent cell phone doctor, he rescued my water-damaged iPhone 13 Pro in less than 1 hour with quick replacement of a brand-new OEM digitizer. Key-takeaway: If you have a water-damaged phone and you are not an expert, please consider not attempting to do anything to it by yourself but let the expert handles it, as you could worsen the situation and have to pay extra dollars to fix it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The whole story if you want more details or resonance to your case. On 11/28/2022, I went for snorkeling with my iPhone 13 pro in a waterproof case, unfortunately the case wasn't locked properly and let water in, my phone continues to work even though it was immersed in the water for more than 15 mins, since then I was able to use my phone for navigation, playing videos I captured under the water with speaker volume to the max and calling (surprisingly it still worked, right?). However, I was not able to charge it as the iOS software pop-up advised me that it detects water within my phone and it cannot be charged after a few hours. (I wished Apple could have updated this warning message by sending this to a cell phone repair store to get checked up first.) What I did next was properly not the right thing (I should have handed my phone to the expert like Mr. Cellular earlier), I was so eager to charge my phone due to the low battery anxiety kicks-in, I got a hairdryer to blow it through the charging port and sim card port till my hand feels really hot, I checked the online guide that my iPhone's sim card area does not show red but white color, and then I charged my phone. I saw it accepted charging this time before the hairdryer self-treatment, however, the charge only last less than 3 seconds and then my phone stops charging, and I lost my touch screen's navigation even though the screen is still lit up, the only button I could use this time is the power button. Next I researched on Yelp and trusted my professional guts that Cory knows what he is doing despite of some negative review, and the fact proves that he is an expert in repairing water damaged cell phones and I decides to mail him my other phones for repair. The end. Thanks for your patience in reading my rambling, and I hope this helps get your phone fixed ASAP.

Conscientious and kind Service!! I was looking for an emergency replacement for my tempered-glass screen protector. I stopped in just a couple minutes before closing and was greeted so graciously by the very friendly and helpful owner. Unfortunately, he didn't have what I needed in stock, but he still took the time to help and advise me how best to get it repaired.Earlier that day, I broke my prescription sunglasses, and since I figured they may have some of the appropriate tools to fix, I asked if he may happen to have any ideas or abilities to help me fix those also. He said he didn't happen to have what was needed on hand, but he took the time to explain the supplies and a very handy technique that I could use to fix them myself cheaply and quickly. I took his advice and it worked well.I didn't even end up buying anything from this ship, but they gave me excellent service, and great advice anyway. As soon as I have a need for their service again, I will be back!

iPhone wouldn't charge. The fellow shone a bright light within the port and looked at it through a magnifying glass. Said I had a bent pin and so the charge port would need to be replaced. $100. I decided to wait until I got home, and have it repaired there, as I could still charge the phone wirelessly. At home, my familiar tech used compressed air and a little pick to pull fluff from the port. Port works just fine now. MrCellular was looking for a quick hundred from me. Dishonest. I won't walk in those doors again.

Almost died in a flash flood on the mountain. Took mine and my wife’s phone with water damage and broken screens. He was honest and fair. Didn’t pressure us to do anything extra. Completely fixed our drenched and cracked phones.

Excellent service. Worked us in last minute for diagnostics after we had water damage to our phone. Phone was ready 2 hours after drop off. He sent pictures during that time to show damage within the phone. He was not able to fix our iPhone due to an old chip in the corner of the screen. The phone had lost its water resistance ability. Very smooth and trustworthy experience. Thank you

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, I REPEAT DO NOT go to this place to fix/repair your phone. Went in to get my iPhone x repaired for fresh water damage, got charge $100 right UP FRONT before any service is done. Came back two days later to pick it up and it seems like he just starting to work on it that same day, and told me to comeback in an hour. Arrived one hour later and he told me that the phone is showing no charge and it might be the logic board. He told me to put it under the sun for a few days and if it doesn't work, it basically broken. I went on to ask what should I do, and he stated "you can throw the phone at the person, if someone is trying to steal your stuff" VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and INAPPROPRIATE. I asked where did the $100 went to? after all I paid to get it FIX, the owner told me that its the fee for diagnostic and service fee. The phone was put back very messily, with the rubber seal pinched on the edges and the inside of the camera lens is dirty.Basically went it to get it fix and it was not fixed at all and $100 down the drain. The first warning that I should have notice was the money upfront before anything else, second was the fact that no documentation whatsoever. Went to another repair shop to ask for a second opinion on the matter and they told me "for a diagnostic they should charge only $30 and no more than $50". To check what is the damage on the phone itself and what needed to be fix. Also they mentioned that payment are charged after the service is done not prior. Essentially the shop wants your money up front, so when the repair doesn't go as plan, they still have your money.I went to another phone repair shop and they charge $35 for diagnostic and assessment of the phone (payment after the service is rendered not before).Trust me, go to another repair shop don't waste your time and money at this shop.
