The room was very nice, though a bit small, but given the price, there's no complaint.
The yard was well maintained, but felt a bit too artificial.
The location was pretty good, with many things within driving distance, but nothing within walking distance. It was also quite close to the highway, which could be a bit noisy.
And shout out to the host Angie, who was super nice and helpful.
Overall, the experience was more similar to a traditional hotel than a bed and breakfast. Given the value, I would definitely choose it over any traditional hotel. However, there are rental apartments with competitive prices, full amenities, and more convenient locations.

This is such a TREASURE!! If you’re staying near Kihei or Wailea, this should most definitely be where you stay. So private, beautiful rooms, amazing service, not nearly the big “resort vibes” like most large chains. I was stunned visiting this property and Angie the host was absolutely perfect!! Every time I visit Maui this will forever be my place to stay.

This is the cutest little place and was a perfect jumping off point for adventures around Maui! We stayed in the Pineapple room for 4 nights during our recent vacation and wish we had stayed longer. Everything was very clean, we loved having the welcome snacks and breakfast options, and the private lanai and the backyard pool area is absolutely perfect for relaxing either before or after a long day at the beach or around the island. We often had the whole area to ourselves. Owners live on sight and were so kind and responsive. They have a beautiful view from the hot tub so one highlight of our stay was relaxing in the hot tub while watching the sun set over the ocean!

have been coming to Maui for over 40 years and Pineapple Inn is one of the nicest places I've stayed in. It's about a 5 minute drive to Elua beach which has amazing snorkeling and another block or so youre at the Shops at Wailea. If you don't mind being right on the beach then this is the perfect spot. The grounds are impeccably kept and the pool area is as good or better than Ekahi or Elua.The view from the Wailea room is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. The food in the fridge is amazing as well and lots of it. Mark was a wonderful host and was always there to answer questions. He really went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful. I will for sure be coming back to Pineapple Inn! Mahalo nui loa for the wonderful experience

My husband and I had a memorable stay here. Mark is a wonderful host and gave us great recommendations and tips for the area. We loved every aspect of Pineapple Inn. We stayed in the Molokini room, which has a view of the beautiful gardens and pool. The grounds here are absolutely gorgeous, and my favorite part of our stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful early morning hours on the lanai while watching the birds at the feeders. It was so hard to leave at the end of our trip, and I can't wait to return!

Pros:It's unique and charming, 0nly 5 rooms. Beautiful grounds, hot tub. Views from 2nd floor. Owners are living onsite to always assist if you need something. Big private balcony. They have beach gear if you need it. Had small fridge stocked with breakfast foods, so you don't have to run out for breakfast each day!Cons:We were there in March, pool was about 70 and wasn't heated, no one used it for the 7 nights we were there. So that was hugely disappointing as we were never told it wouldn't be warmed up so it could be used. You will need a car, located in a residential neighborhood, nothing is walkable.

Loved this inn. Why? Well, let me tell you. Clean. Inviting. Cozy.Lovely premises. Pool. Hot tub. Breakfast. EXcellent hosts.I almost don't want to write this review of this hidden gem because it is an utter delight. Rooms are a tad small compared to resorts. But you get the coziness that leaves you in a total rested state.

Outstanding place to stay! Nice and well maintained rooms. Beautiful gardens and pool area with hot tub and small putting green. Great location. The cabin on the property was perfect for our family vacation.

If you love lush tropical gardens, singing birds, Hawaiian music, peace and tranquility, privacy, saltwater pool, views of the ocean, welcoming and attentive staff, you'll love Pineapple Inn. We never wanted to leave the property - we were enchanted with the paradise that Mark and his partner created. There are so many conveniences and extra little perks that are provided during your stay that make you feel as comfortable as being at home. We felt blessed to have found this hidden gem during our visit to Maui!

The view was stunning from the 2nd floor in our Wailea room. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were amazing to use. There was also a kitchen with a microwave and fridge / basket full of food for us, made us feel super welcome.

We just got back from our honeymoon in Maui and we stayed at the Pineapple Inn for a portion of the time and we are so glad that we did! Everything was amazing; the staff, the grounds, the pool and hot tubs, and the private balcony. It's extremely affordable to stay there, especially by Maui standards, and you get everything out of it that you need and want. We especially appreciated that they have beach chairs, boogie boards, and other beach toys readily available for you to use. We cannot recommend The Pineapple Inn enough!
