They provide free wifi for customer. We get fresh vegetables, taco powder, minced turkey, tortilla sheets, Greek yogurt, and cookies. They used to have fresh soup of day statuon.

Store does not support the space-age and I hardly ever carry my wallet on me because this is the space-age I got my cell phone I’m connected by satellite, so imagine my surprise when I go shopping and they tell me, I cannot buy my food because their machine is always acting funny

I'm a very fond shopper of Lahaina Safeway. Not sure how early they open but they're indefinitely closed daily at 9pm. This establishment still takes part in $5 Friday's on certain products & foods you just would need to check out the aisles & what's on sale. The self express checkout lanes area is usually the fastest moving cue, however there's usually 3 or 4 regular lanes assisting customers.

While I loved the Safeway and its selection, bakery and quality; the pricing compared to Walmart and Costco and the mainland were beyond even BelAir in California or Trader Joe's. I know, it's Hawaii. Still, after shopping at all three it begs the question as to why their prices are SO much higher for the same items. We purchased there sparingly because of it.
