I decide to try it since I live in Wailea. The rinse was not working properly. When I got home i noticed my car had soap all over it and there was still bird droppings on the roof. Next time I will pay the extra $ and go to Kahului.

Great car wash if you need one. Love their aloha spirit and kindness. You must pay before and go inside the store and see the cashier. Friendly folks plus pick up some ono snacks before. It's inside next next Havens take out , so get your lunch too while you are there. The best smash burger! Plus once you are in the car wash station tell the nice man you want a wipe down too! Plus give him your cash slip from the cashier because he needs the number. He does a great job and oh so friendly even if you don't know where to park for the wipe down. He thought I couldn't drive. Haha! But very nice and kind. Please give him a generous tip. He does an excellent job. I will drive a little further just to have my car washed here!

Minimart is fine, car wash isn't worth it. I got the mid-level wash for $16.00. Top level is $22.00! Mirrors are folded in before wash, they never get cleaned and bad job on the wash. Take a cloth to wipe down which doesn't dry from the machine. Go to Kwik Stop carwash on Lipoa, much cheaper and wipe down included.

Terrible carwash! Leaves spots. Man won't wipe down car unless you can read his mind and give him a 5$ tip before the wash. Without signs saying so. THE MOST EXPENSIVE CARWASH ON ISLAND WITH THE WORSTE SERVICE!

Super friendly staff here! Clean store and helpful service. We tried the car wash and there was an attendant who helped rinse off the car and directed us to enter the car wash. Great deal for a car wash!

During our recent 10+ day stay in Maui, this Kihei-area Shell station was the most convenient place to gas up the rental car. The Costco and Safeway stations in Kahului were certainly cheaper, but much less convenient in terms of schedule and driving distance. This Station is also close enough to OGG to still keep the rental car gas gage at Full when arriving at the airport.

this afternoon approximately 1:30 pay for the car wash service, being on the line 5 minutes later the man shouted to me that he will return tomorrow ... enter the store again and asked the reason, the cashier tried to justify the act, so I explained that I still had 30 min, (there were only 3 cars online). (supposedly close 2:00)I am or since today was a frequent customer ... my question is: do employees decide the hours they consider to leave work at the time they want? At this time many wish to have more sales and with this attitude they only harm the partners of this company ...

This is a nice place and it is extremely convenient since it is a half-mile from our house. The staff is friendly. The prices are, I guess, the average for Maui? It's $7 for a basic wash, which does not include an extra brush scrubbing by the attendant. It's $1.50 per use of their vacuum. If I had paid for vacuuming, then I'd be at almost $9; possibly $10. Compared to one other place on Maui, there are some things which I don't prefer: I have to walk in and pay for my wash code. I like the convenience of other services where I pay at the pump, or at the entry to the car wash. There is an attendant at the start of the car wash who uses a shop broom to scrub down your car. I didn't get that service, because I think I paid for the basic, but I am glad because I don't like the idea of bristles running across my car's paint. Not that my car is perfect, but I would like to avoid more scratches. Interestingly, there IS a code-based entry at the start. It looks like the Shell station does not use the code-based entry and installed a human at the front to provide extra brush services. It's either to make extra money on extra services or the machine is broken and this is a way to fix it? None of the paid-for services include a wipe down, according to a super-large sign at the front of the wash. I assume it's someone who you have to tip at the end. Also, I felt it was slow-going, with walking in, waiting for the attendant to brush down the cars in front of me, etc. But it could have been because it was lunchtime and everyone was on their lunch break. Based on the convenience and the friendly staff, this place is okay.
