“This was our 5th time staying here. This is a wonderfully family owned business that truly makes you feel like family. They are always amazing! The individual cottages are charming and have everything you could need or want. The beautiful ocean and beach are only feet away. Restaurants and stores are all close. Each cottage has a porch with a table and chairs so you can relaxingly enjoy the sunsets over the ocean. I highly recommend staying here.”

“My 10 year old really enjoyed feeding the fish, birds and turtles. We did the tour and really enjoyed the scenery from the tram and learning about the different plants on the plantation. This was our 2nd visit and plan to return next time we're in Maui!”

“Update (Sep 2026): The hotel recently upgraded their washer and dryers with credit card and tap-to-pay abilities. Super convenient to do laundry here with most detergents & softeners (not sure about pods). It's about $3 per wash/dry cycle and takes between 30-45 mins for each cycle. Washer cleaned our clothes really well (and nearly dry at the end of the cycle) and the laundry room itself is well-maintained (staff were there wiping down the machines while I was there). Other things to mention, the electric VW bus is a great amenity of you're wanting a ride to the local restaurants and shops. Grills were well-maintained and have all the BBQ tools you need at the grill. All the staff I've encountered here continue to be friendly and welcoming. Although I don't expect it, staff consistently acknowledge elite status at check-in which is a nice touch. ----- This is my go-to hotel in South Maui. My husband and I have stayed here several times and really enjoy it each time. All staff I’ve interacted with are consistently friendly, helpful and professional. The entire hotel is well-maintained, modern and feels very comfortable immediately. The pool feels very much like a nice resort pool (big upgrade from any other residence inn I’ve ever stayed at) with a very laid back vibe. There are grills available if you’d like to cook as well as basic kitchen supplies in the rooms. The gym is clean, well-maintained and large enough for several people to workout at once. Lastly, the location can’t be beat. You can walk to great restaurants, take the shuttle to the wailea area and visit Kihei within a 5-10 min drive. We love this hotel and plan to book it anytime we visit Maui.”

“Well worth the price. I spend a week in Maui every year and the last two have been making a point to play KKGC. The course is TOUGH, no easy shots, but well worth the struggle - the course is always in great shape, wonderful water views from the east to the west, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating! I even had the Director of Golf drive out my breakfast mid round because I had forgotten it after teeing off. Can't wait to see them again next year!”

“I was both surprised and delighted to discover this architectural gem in the middle of the Pacific. I'd read about the history of the place in my tour book and since I'm a Frank Lloyd Wright fan I decided to check it out. My review is for the restaurant which was a bit tricky to find but the hunt was rewarded. It's a small room and when we arrived for a late lunch on a Monday we were the only table initially. Our waiter explained the specials and I opted to have a pulled pork sandwich served on brioche bun with a side Ceaser. The food came quickly and was very good. But the real treat was wandering around the building and taking in the special features like the stained glass and custom designed elevator doors, all sporting a classic FLW motif. The ceilings and a fireplace near the main entry all have a unique circular design. This place is well worth the side trip even if you aren't a golfer. The lush greens are so relaxing and make for a great backdrop for outdoor dining”

“Check in was a breeze, location is great, room was nice, they have a restaurant that is open until 10p, food trucks are right next door and they are also open late. Pro tip...when you walk into the dark room the master light switch is above the standard height switch to the left of the door.”

“Best hotel in Maui!! Look no further! The service was absolutely excellent, and the room was beautiful. The hotel is also just a short distance from shopping and plenty of great local restaurants. One of my favorite perks was the courtesy car, which will take you anywhere within a mile of the hotel. That is clutch! It’s incredibly easy to use and runs until 10:30 PM, making getting around so convenient. You’d be silly to stay anywhere else. Highly recommend!”
