Dang, I didn’t read the reviews before renting. They have pre-check in where they ask you submit pic of license & selfie…..didn’t help. 90minutes to rent a car. Not pleasant one bit after 7 hour flight.

did the online “pre-check” and saved no time whatsoever. still had to wait two hours in line watching the people in front of me doing the same exact stuff I did online beforehand. “Mike” is terrible at his job. His coworkers get through 3-4 customers in the time that it takes him to get through 1. Would not recommend Dollar car rentals to anyone. Use Hertz instead.

Customer service is non existent. My husband was on hold for a whole morning and then representative hung up in middle of transaction.

Horrible customer service! Spent three days of our vaca dealing with our rental car situation! Then car broke down on us!!! And got charged twice! And charged two holds on the credit car!

The pick Up and the car was good and fast.My surprise comes the day after the drop off when i found my credit card charged with the gas refill fare.I already refilled It within a 10miles radius and I have proof of It.I can't belive It!!!

Alyssa is amazing! Wow. She was super helpful and so kind. I'm traveling with my parents and she was so accommodating. Also, the Kauai Sheraton Hotel is quite lovely as its quiet, a very large property and such fantastic views.

Probably one of the worst rental experiences. Only went with this company for the guaranteed 4x4 keep they offered during reservation. Unfortunately they did not have the keep at the time of pickup. I had to make an extra trip the next day for pickup.

Reviews are true. Absolutely worst car rental experience ive had anywhere. Place should be shut down. Hate I didnt check this beforehand. Thought most car rental services were the same. Never again!

You are getting started on Vacation. You get off the plane, get on the bus and arrive at the car rental agency. Excited to experience you vacation, you get slammed at dollar rent a car for 2 hours waiting for them to do paperwork. wash cars, etc. It was horrible. Long lines. Customers waiting for over an hour for their rental. But that's not all... We finally got our upgraded Chevy Malibu, 40,000miles, and it was a rolling door ding. I took pictures. Finally threw our bags into the trunk, drove to the nearest market and bought paper towels. Couldn't see out of the windows. Smeared off the worst using bottled water etc.... anyway.. could write a novel.. Moral of story.. lower you expectations then lower them again.
