My husband and I are visiting Kauai for the first time (1st time to Hawaii). I was blown away by Scuba Tom’s artwork. Leigh (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) helped us in the store. She was so sweet and we really enjoyed talking to her. I was frank with her and said we probably couldn’t purchase anything because of the prices, and she of course told us that was no problem and we were more than welcome to just look. She also showed us some budget friendly items, like the prints. I saw a beautiful shadow box with a detailed wood map of Kauai on the wall and asked her about it. I told her it was unfortunately too big and too much for us to get. To my surprise, she showed me there was a smaller size of the same artwork that was a bit more affordable. My husband and I walked the rest of old town Koloa, but my heart was set on that wood Kauai map!!! We returned to get it and Leigh went above and beyond helping us wrap/protect it for our trip back home. All around, this was a great experience!!! It was great getting to know Leigh and to learn a bit from a local of 40+ years! I am so happy and in awe of the beautiful artwork I got and it will forever be a reminder of Kauai and its people who have made our visit so memorable. Thank you Leigh and thank you Scuba Tom for sharing your artwork that so perfectly captures the beauty and spirit of Kauai! A MUST VISIT gallery!!!!

Impressive little gallery. Acquired one original and two prints from the same artist. My partner & I collect local work where we travel. I'm impressed with the quality and surprised with the in house printing. I wish all of Fisheye could come home with me!

The richness and composition of the photographs of marine life and wave action shots are jaw dropping amazing. Plus they have many pictures of scenes around the island. Their prices are very reasonable for someone looking to pick up a print to take home. Highly recommend this place.Would have like to have taken a picture inside to show you, but there are signs asking that pictures not be taken. So, You will have to believe me. :-)

Visiting this gallery was spontaneous, but the results were excellent! Great customer service! Quick shipping back to the mainland! The packaging was solid! And the photography is spectacular! Thank you, Scuba Tom and Team!

KAREN ALERT. Warning to all POC folks. We were in Koloa yesterday. While I was in the restroom my brown skinned Indo American husband walked into Fish Eye Gallery. He said "hello" to the shopkeeper( not sure if she is proprietor or employee) she gave no response. He tried again to make polite conversation. No response and avoided eye contact. He eventually left and met me outside. He described what happened, confused why anyone would be so rude and unfriendly. That has not been our experience in multiple trips to Kauai. He said, you go and see what happens. I am apple pie white skin, blue eyed, and freckled. I went a mere few minutes after he exited the shop. The door was locked. I jiggled the handle and the woman opened the door. I said, "hello" and she greeted me back. I walked around the shop. I could see my husband approaching, so did she and she went to lock the door. I was furious. I told her that he was my husband and that her behavior was offensive and racist. She had no response just opened the door for me to leave. I told my husband what happened then both of us were upset and called her out for her racist behavior. She was silent, not a bit of remorse or humility. We left vowing to post the experience. Dear Madame, if you are the proprietor then this business should be flagged as a Jim Crow style racist business and boycotted. If you are an employee you should be held accountable and dismissed. Response?
