We went to see their Ni Ihau collection. The sales staff was so rude!! It was shocking. Before I even tried on a necklace I was grilled about if I could even afford one!! I informed them that I already had one. Then they grilled me some more about my necklace and when I got it and how they have doubled in price. My husband was pissed and walked away. We left and purchased several Ni Ihau pieces from a local broker. When we told this story to the manager at our hotel, he told us they have heard about Hawaiian Trading Post rude staff many times and don't recommend them. Neither do we!

Huge selection of high quality shell leis. They also have other beautiful jewelry in jade, Tahitian pearls among others. Fair prices and no junk. Never made it to the next room with island clothing. Not open on weekends. Well worth the drive.

Nice enough shop, had been in here before COVID and it had way more back then. Today it is pretty much just jewelry and a small selection of clothing but that does include some nice shirts. Worth a stop if you are heading to the east side of the island,

We are so happy to have stopped in here! I purchased some beautiful Ni'ihau earrings and a few other jewelry pieces. Then came back a few days later for more. Christine and Gabi were so sweet and welcoming. They are incredibly knowledgeable about all their pieces, and it really makes you appreciate the pieces that much more! Looking forward to visiting on the next trip to see what new pieces they have!
